Hello ECF-ers... Really, this is a Happy Holiday to you all and a chance for me to relay a little story.

I was driving up I-95 the other day while en route to spend the holidays with my family. I drove right on by the Phillip Morris headquarters in Richmond, VA. As I passed them, I held up my Provari high and proud. I took a vape from my Protank 2 filled with Boba's Bounty and thought to myself, "Yep, it's going to be a merry Christmas this year."

That is all. Again, happy holidays everyone! Do yourselves a favor and load up your favorite topper with a favorite flavor and enjoy the smoke-free festivities.

That's similar to what I do when I see that ad for Nicorette "tic-tacs" (or whatever the %$#! they are.....!).....
When the guy is asked for an analog....and says "No.... I'm good......" -- I raise my MVP v2/PT2....and shout:
"I'M BETTER!!!!!!":D
As of an hour ago....I can now shout: "I'M GRAND!":) Just fired up my new Reo (Grand!)/RM2 combo....
SWEEEEEEEEEET!;)
Early Christmas present to myself.....:)
Happy (vaping) Trails!

I take a big vape and fly the bird every time I drive past my old tobacco shop.

I wouldn't do the bird thing if I had not had the following experience right before I ordered my first real kit. I went in there knowing they carried the starter kits for several different common cigalike brands. I was already debating with myself get a carton of smoke or get a cigalike kit. So I asked about the cigalike kits. THe stores owner proceeded to spend an hour telling me how awful every one of the ecigs were and why I didn't want to do that. Now here is the kicker. The kits they carry would have been $80 + I would probably been dropping more in cartos regularly than what I spent with them in cigs. WHY? Why even carry it if you are going to try so hard not to sell it and make MORE money?

He only delayed my switch by 2 weeks and in the end I started with a far better kit than he offered but I never set foot in there again.

I'm enjoying some raspberry cotton candy in my brand new iclear30s. It was my one present I got to open early. I could tell which present it was my the size and feel so it's the one I purposely chose to open lol. So far I really like it. Great flavor and great vapor. Especially at 4.4volts on the MVP2. I like the draw much better than the regular iclear30.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!

You might have answered your own question there. I wouldn't be at all surprised if many small shops, partially reliant on smokers to stay afloat, are deliberately stocking rubbish / overpricing and talking down alternatives.

Many people would not have done the further research you evidently did (or at least not for a while).

It might not help in the long run, but if they're desperate they'll do it anyway.

-edit:

Almost similar in a way to the Big Tobacco version of snus. I'm fairly convinced, from what I've read, that it's a deliberately hobbled product, designed to stem the flow from cigarettes.

I'll be going to the family tobacco farm on the TN VA border that grows tobacco for PM while vaping :) Great christmas indeed!

Big fan of standing up to family pressure when you have an ideological difference. I did the same with an unrelated matter. Out of the will (costing me millions), but I can hold my head up when I talk to my subservient siblings that stay silent while waiting for my parents to pass before voicing their true feelings.
