I've considered using off-the-shelf Liquid Smoke for this, but decided not to because it's almost entirely composed of tar from burning wood.

Check out Perfumer's Apprentice Hickory Smoke flavor... Tastes like grilling smells... Definitely a barbecue note...

Already got it. Just not the same as the Mesquite thats in the TN Cured.

I have a nearly full bottle of "Hickory Smoke" from viking vapor... You are welcome to it. I have no idea the mg's PG/VG etc..
