I am glad you understand I felt I was rushing the job.I haven't built a flop yet and I don't want to. If I do this right the mod will only be a whisker larger then the mini I can live with that more power minor increase in size .

Yeah, you shouldn't rush it Rob. Perfection takes time. Plus, I've recently made some pretty big purchases (not vape related). Need the time to recover before I start buying more REO's and what nots.

"Before we use any power tools, let's take a moment to talk about shop safety. Be sure to read, understand, and follow all the safety rules that come with your power tools. Knowing how to use your power tools properly will greatly reduce the risk of personal injury. And remember this: there is no more important safety rule than to wear these — safety glasses."

Take your time, Rob, as was said above, we'll be here :)

I Didn't end up ordering the parts for the 18490s .It was eating at me I was going to just cut the grand down to fit a 18490.The truth is I no I can do better then that as far as size goes. I was up late last night working on this .
I should be trying to convert the mini not the grand. I no many of you want the metal 18490 but I need a little more time I want this to be perfect and rushing in is only asking for problems . Bare with me folks its coming I have plate full but I will get this going
Yeah you got a full plate! I was kind of worried about you for a second there brother. You've already got a full line of products that you can't keep in stock due to the demand (no fault of yours....unless you want to admit that you are building 'em too well). You've got the VV project going and I can only imagine what kind of work that has got to be putting on you due to the extreme shift of direction your other projects took (from extremely well thought out simplicity to feature rich electronic based). You've also got a personal life I'm sure. Dude the only time you have left is the time you spend asleep! Get some sleep bro! It's the most important 8 hours you have during the 24 we're granted everyday. Slow down or hire some help, but either way, don't get over worked. No one wants you to quit because you get burned out trying to do too much at one time. Take care of yourself, the rest will fall in to place.

I'm just going to stand here in line and vape the *few* REOs I already own..... The sun is shining and the conversation is good. Back in the day (before ordering tickets online and picking them up at the box office...) we'd spend the night camped out in line to get concert tickets to some big show, and more of my good memories (from this distance) revolve around the experiences in those lines than they do of the concerts. Ha. I can remember camping out all night on the sidewalk with about 3,000 other fans waiting to get good seats to an Air Supply (go figure!!) concert. I remember that camp-out (and how FREEZING cold it was and how we all shared blankets and hot chocolate) to this day, and I can't say I remember much of the concert at all. LOL

We'll wait....no rush....anybody want some hot chocolate?

Seems to me that once you have one made and happy with the design you'll need a tester. Im thinking the best test would be with someone who prefers Wood REOs because if you can win him over then you know you got a winner.... pickmeeesmiley.gif
