Hey all,
Thought I'd share my thoughts on my new Poldiac Aname.

Let me start by saying I love my Temon. I do. But... Well... My Temon has been hanging out in the cupboard since my Aname arrived.

Poldiac Aname 18350
Button: I thought that the button would be similar to that of a digital camera. That is - you push down half way and meet some resistance (at this point the camera focuses) push further down after focus to snap the photograph. I figured this would take some getting used to. However, this is not the case with my Poldiac and I am relieved. I press the button and it fires. Smooth, effortless, push = vapor. No halfway resistance.

Locking button (shirt slide):
This does take some getting used to(in a world full of 5 button click EGOs). It will probably be a long time before I can seamlessly and confidently slide the shirt over the button to prevent firing. I think it will be a long time because I just plain don't ever have a real need to lock the button anyway!

The design of the button is so flush with the shirt the only way it can misfire is maybe if you have like a big ring of keys in your pocket or something with your Poldiac and you have to kneel, bend, stoop, etc frequently. In my opinion and in my use of my Poldiac I would never put myself in that situation to begin with so... *shrug*

Do I wish there was an easier way to lock the button, yes. Sure, why not? Do I think it is necessary, absolutely not. Besides, I think everyone should treat their Poldiac as a functioning piece of art. If I have some hard labor to do and would still like to have a vape within reach - that's what my Temon is for.

Fit and Finish:
Holy moly. This is a beautiful creation. The weight, the size, the feel is all top class. For example: EGO-with-a-clearomizer is to Honda what Poldiac-with-a-gennie is to Mercedes. Poldiac-with-a-D22 is to... I dunno... Rolls Royce maybe? (Related note...man I can't wait for the DID22!)

Conclusion:
The Poldiac looks different from other mods because it is different from other mods. Not the same old simple metal tube with a button on the bottom. Other mods that have a side mounted button?... They too just don't compete. I like a lot of other devices, don't get me wrong I would never bash a product (unless it totally sucked). It's just that the Poldiac brings a splash of elegant individuality to the vaping world. I have let my vaping friends try my Poldiac - they all immediately wanted one. Metal Madness is luxurious and original, elegant and refreshing. Keep it up team MMV.
