Metal vs plastic drip tip

I have the pt2 and couldn't stand the metal tips. Got a nice plastic one and in heaven.

Seems like i got a metal taste and didnt like the metal on teeth feeling.

Anyone else prefer plastic or metal?

I have become very comfortable with plastic drip tips but I am sure it was a visual choice on how the black tip suits the black mod with a silver atomizer in the middle.

When it comes to keeping 'em clean and longevity, after using them for a long time I prefer metal - preferably stainless. Plastic ones split, crack, get stepped on... And you still have issues that the same liquids that can crack a plastic tank can also mess up plastic drips as well.

I tend to only use metal, stone and ceramic drip tips. I use many tank cracker juices and I just do not want to worry about it.

I prefer pyrex and tru-stone for appearance, feel, and their ability to stay cool from the heat that the juice attachment may make.

I avoid the plated or anodized metal tips and stick with stainless steel but I have a few plastic ones around too. My plastic tips don't last that long because I chew on them too much and they end up looking like crap.

Stainless steel and ceramic for me.. They don't seem to hold onto flavors like plastic ones do, so switching tips and tanks you don't get flavor carry over ..,. Sounds stupid but I would really like a gold (solid) drip tip..

when I'm out and about I use plastic so i dont risk hurting my teeth, when I'm home I use metal. I prefer the taste of the metal tips. I think the perfect tip for me would be a stainless steel or silver vase style.

Plastic for me. Tried a SS tip but didn't like the cold. I'm not rough on them. I've ever had to throw one out.

stainless steel for me...but I do vape often with a friend tip on when out and about so I dont hit my teeth...they dont hold flavors and are easy to clean

The residue left on the ss metal tips makes me wonder if this really is as safe as we hope though. lol
Exercise doesn't lie about the lung gain so i can over look the starchy like residue

I want a fancy glass and ceramic in the near future also one or two jade

acrylic drip tips for me... they break sometimes ,but all in all I like the feel of them better

Jade does sound nice...

Personally I like my stainless one. I haven't bothered with plastic since the first swapping to the metal ones.
I also have a blue metal one but the whole is not as big as the stainless so I stick with that.

if you buy cheap Chinese made DTs who knows what metal is in them. If its 304 or higher SS you can not taste the metal. I drop everything and sometimes the plastic DT will break off at the base. So after breaking a couple of my cherry vapes ming DTs for 9 dollars a pop I switched to metal.

Its weird, when I started vaping I liked plastic, but have really grown to love metal ones. They can be cleaned under scalding hot water or soaked in whatever to clean them. I use only Protanks, so it's a good thing I guess.

Plastic for me - well, maybe acrylic or even stone but definitely not metal. Don't like the hardness of them (always afraid I'll chip a tooth somehow) and they feel cold.

I'd much rather use metal over plastic. Seems like I can taste the plastic when inhaling. Also prefer glass tanks for the same reason. Everyone has their own preferences I guess.

I use both. When I first got a protank it took a little getting used to because all I had before that were the plastic tips. I still like the cheap acrylic tips too though!
