All my juices have a metallic taste to them.. What's that about? How do I fix it........
the same flavor 2 days straight? Could be a case of vapors tongue. I get a funky plastic Band-Aid after taste if I use one flavor for too long.Using fluid I had in the day before that had a great flavor than went to crap.I dumped ,washed and refilled tank.
Now that may be it as the vape is a cinnamon cereal blend. But day one was like sweet sweet lov'n in a water cloud.

I wasn't happy with my new Aspire Nautilus mini with the new organic cotton coils because of it had a slightly metallic and rather harsh taste, however a friend suggested I replace the metal tip with a plastic (I think its delrin) one and it helped a lot, the metallic taste is gone (or significantly reduced for sure), and now I'm wondering if the harsh part is just the strong throat hit, from vaping 24 mg NET's with it, or if the coils might also be a factor. How did you figure out the coils were giving you the metallic taste? I have read through a lot of forums, and some people say that kanthal wire coils give them a metallic taste, but not nicrhrome wire, while one guy said the opposite. I don't know what kind of wire Aspire uses in the OCC BVC coils.i have been using the nautilus off and on, and some coils give me a metallic taste. took me forever to figure out it was the actual coil and not anything else.
If you see my post above, replacing my metal (stainless I presume) tip on my nautilus mini seems to have helped get rid/reduce the metalling taste. I thought the same thing about my Kangertech emow, dual bottom coil unit, it also had a stainless tip. Reading through threads here, it appears that some people are sensitive to certain metals (coils, tips), and some have suggested its the iron (which is in Stainless steel, and kanthal wire i believe, don't quote me on that ).All my juices have a metallic taste to them.. What's that about? How do I fix it........
