Now that may be it as the vape is a cinnamon cereal blend. But day one was like sweet sweet lov'n in a water cloud.

I used to really like a cinnamon redhot added to my Virginia... but months down the road, now I can't vape that flavor at all, no matter how little is added. I've recently acquired TFA Cinnamon Spice, which is supposed to be a baking cinnamon flavor rather than redhot, but I haven't tried it yet.

Cinnemaldehyde also reacts chemically with some plastics, such as the plastics used in vape tanks, and over time, can weaken and crack them; I've wondered if it might also be reacting chemically with the metal of the coil.

Just throwing this out there. Having tried the new BVC coils in the Naut i always get a weird rubber / metallic taste regardless of wattage. This never happened with the older version. When i do my own builds with nichrome 80 (instead of kanthal) i never get that taste. I would recommend experimenting with different coil setups to get a flavor that is right for you.

i have been using the nautilus off and on, and some coils give me a metallic taste. took me forever to figure out it was the actual coil and not anything else.
I wasn't happy with my new Aspire Nautilus mini with the new organic cotton coils because of it had a slightly metallic and rather harsh taste, however a friend suggested I replace the metal tip with a plastic (I think its delrin) one and it helped a lot, the metallic taste is gone (or significantly reduced for sure), and now I'm wondering if the harsh part is just the strong throat hit, from vaping 24 mg NET's with it, or if the coils might also be a factor. How did you figure out the coils were giving you the metallic taste? I have read through a lot of forums, and some people say that kanthal wire coils give them a metallic taste, but not nicrhrome wire, while one guy said the opposite. I don't know what kind of wire Aspire uses in the OCC BVC coils.

All my juices have a metallic taste to them.. What's that about? How do I fix it........
If you see my post above, replacing my metal (stainless I presume) tip on my nautilus mini seems to have helped get rid/reduce the metalling taste. I thought the same thing about my Kangertech emow, dual bottom coil unit, it also had a stainless tip. Reading through threads here, it appears that some people are sensitive to certain metals (coils, tips), and some have suggested its the iron (which is in Stainless steel, and kanthal wire i believe, don't quote me on that ).
