First of all several orders in the last couple months and all of you there at MFS are just great, but I have a question- Is there a master list of how long to steep the flavorings you guys sell? I bought several bottles from you and when I first got them I was about to throw them in the trash because of the very obnoxious chemical taste and smell. But read several threads on ECF about steeping and that seems to make a difference but don't know when to stop steeping and start using. After a week and 1\2 of steeping and shaking everyday it is alot better but still has a slight hint of the chemical smell and taste.I had 8 bottles of flavoring in my basement all steeping at the same time and it would just about knock you off you feet when I went down there It would be nice if the add for a flavoring stated that it should be steeped for "X" number of days so that we have a starting point to work with.

Keep up the great work

We don't have a master list for steeping or mixing. Tastes vary so widely between users that making a list such as this isn't very beneficial to most because everyone's preference would be different. Some people like to mix and vape juices the minute they receive them and others like to steep them for weeks before using. I wish I could provide a better answer for you, but unfortunately I don't think that there is one.

If you are getting a strong chemical taste it may be that you are mixing the liquids with to much flavoring. When to much flavoring is added the actual flavor begins to decline and the chemical taste starts to overtake it. Mixing using a lower percentage of flavoring may actually provide more flavor and less chemical taste, but again every flavor is different along with everyone's tastes so it is hard to judge. Lots of trial and error is really the best method as long as you take great notes and make small adjustments at a time.

Thanks for your reply

I understand what you are saying but When I recieved a order from you one of which was Wintergreen and opened the bottle, the smell was so strong and smelled like a "Bounce" dryer sheet that even at 5% was unvapeable and was disgaurded. After more than a week and a half it is starting to come around and I feel that in due time it will be fine. I am sure most people when they buy something they want to start using it as soon as they get it not 2-3 weeks later. I also understand that taste is subjective and trial and error is part of it, but when I go to my local E-Cig place in the mall and buy prefilled carts every time they taste the same to me so there must be a Maximum time to steep in order for that to happen where is just won't change anymore. This is what I am looking to find out. If I buy something from anywhere I guess I will let it sit for a month or better to try to get rid of the taste and smell (with caps off) so I can start to play with all the flavors I have so far. I try to do alot of research before I ask a question and did on this topic as well and found steeping ranges from hours to weeks and even a month long, so there is no real cut and dry time line. I want you to know that I think MFS is a great place to buy all my E-Cig products and will continue to do so.

Another question if you would: I bought a 5 pack of (1 x CE4+ eGo Clearomizer) and there are markings on the side but you said in a different post

" I didn't realize it, but we actually have two versions of the vision ego ce4+ clearomizer. The version without the markings on the side will be called the CE4+ eGo Clearomizer and are rated at 2.4-2.7 ohms, while the version with the liquid level markings on the side will be called Vision eGo Clearomizer - Low Resistance and are rated at 2.1-2.4 ohms"

Are these the Low resistance one or regular so I now for my next order. Also says the mouthpiece screws in and mine just pushes in

Thanks for all your help

On the CE4+ eGo Clearomizers we just got in a new shipment in which about half of them have the markings on the side just like the Vision eGo Cearomizer - Low Resistance, which makes it a little more difficult to distinguish between the two. As for the threads on the mouthpiece, they are still there, but they may have come unglued from the mouthpiece. With the mouthpiece inserted, if you apply a little pressure towards one side and unscrew at the same time you should be able to remove the mouthpiece with the threads attached. It's not really necessary to have the threads attached to the mouthpiece permanently since it fits so snugly anyways.

I personally think that the Vision eGo Clearomizers are made just slightly better than the CE4+ eGo Clearomizers, but it's just my opinion as we have been receiving great feedback on both products.
