Long time lurker and DIY feller with more time than money on my hands...

2-3 pack a day Camel/Pall Mall guy since 1956, lost a lung with COPD and Emphysema and forced to quit cold turkey last year. That didn't go very well. LOL

The VA surgeon demanded all the normal alternatives, Chantix, patch, etc. Useless. Then I found the e-health e-cigarette and tried it until the atomizer went out. Back to the drawing board and research on this board and others, finally decided on these

I've had good luck with the Kamel juice @36mg, but have read that the thicker darker juices may cause problems?

Any vapers using this?

The eGo passthrough Kit includes the following:
- 1 eGo passthrough 900 mah Battery
- 5 Boge 2.0 ohm 510 cartomizers
- 1 eGo Cone
- 1 510 Drip Tip (color and material may vary)
- 1 Charging cable
- 18ml Bottle of juice (please specify flavor and nic strength in comments section during checkout)
- Also ordered 2 five paks of the Boge 2 ohm carts

Hi, Welcome aboard.

That's a good kit. It's not first on my list of recommendations, but lots of people use that one. You should do well with it. I quit a 35 year 3 pack habit in one day with a lot shabbier kit than that one, and 24mg juice.
36mg is pretty strong. Don't hurt yourself! :D

Don't overlook non-tobacco flavors. You'll be surprised how fast you lose your taste for tobacco once those dead taste buds come back to life.

Dark juices tend to clog atomizers and cartomizers faster. So does juice high in VG content.
It's nothing terrible, but you will go through cartos faster than with a lighter juice.

Good luck. Plug that baby in and vape away.

If you haven't already ordered that, you might want to look at the e-Power. It looks a lot like that one but it has replaceable batteries and will save you money in the long run. That battery will wear out one day and you'll have to toss it out. With the e-Power, you just replace the battery. They're only about $44 shipped at Sweet-Vapes.com and include cartomizers and 2 batteries with a charger so you're not tethered to your computer.

Thanks sailorman, I looked at those e-power but had trouble finding the batteries. I'm retired/disabled and a mIRC channel operator/web design host spending what's left of my life on the laptop. LOL

The passthrough appealed for that reason, and I got tired of waiting for batteries to recharge. At my age time is a luxury not to be wasted.

Decent price though, I was limited to my $50 month allowance from our SS check. This order cost $60 shipping included ($3) with 2 18ml bottles of 36mg juice. I suspected dark juice as a factoring culprit in the demise of my atomizers.

How long do those batteries last, what's recharge time, and how many charges will they take?

The 18650 sized batteries that sweet-vapes sends are 2200mah. One will last all day easily. They will take about 500 charges or so. They'll recharge in about 4 hours depending on how drained they are and what charger is used, they'd probably send a standard 800ma charger. Put it this way, with 18650 batteries you don't wait for them to recharge. I swap mine out when they drop to 3.8 volts and the other one is charged long before that. They come off the charger at 4.2V and take about 6 or 8 hours to get to 3.8V, and they're only 1600mah and I chain-vape. You can get 18650 batteries almost anywhere on the net that sells e-cig stuff. You can get really super quality Panasonic 2250mah 18650 batteries from orbtronic.com for $10 shipped, or normal quality batteries for about $5 or $6.

To start out sampling juices is costly, but there's a great deal right now at goodprophets.com - their american juice is on sale at $.99/10ml and shipping is cheap too. You can put together a few different tobacco juice flavors for less than $10, and they have other flavors too if you look further on the site. Here's the link 24mg GP FlavorFull Tobacco eLiquid - 10ml bottle It only goes up to 24mg but that's where I started to cut the cravings.

This juice is mostly VG but is thin enough to use in cartomizers too. I just placed an order for 30 bottles, used TVCfriend for an additional 5% off at checkout and got free shipping (over $30), so 300ml for $30.69 shipped. I've used them before and shipping is quick and Rob's service is great. Hope that helps you keep moving forward.

That said, Mr E-Liquid makes some of the best liquid in the business and Dan's a great guy. Good luck!
