I'm not concerned with wraps or anything like that, my go to devices are a kfl and russian 91. Was more just wondering if I need no resistance joins or not. :)

No resistance wire is needed...unless you are perhaps attempting a double coil set up...

MicroCoils are so sweet. Dig deep and there is almost too much information on building microcoils. Here are two threads I recommend:

+1 on these threads. All the information you need, and then some. A properly built and wicked micro coil in a PT is a game changer; it makes the PT perform as well as it possibly can within the limitations of it's design.
