Hi, I'm wanting 2 build micro coils for my Protank that sit on top of a small variable voltage battery that'll run 3.2v-4.8v. I've heard that the lowest ohms my battery can handle is 1.5 ohms? I was wondering what size of ribbon kanthal is should get? I'm trying to get the most coverage on my wick without going below 1.5 ohms. Also should I use cotton or what would you guys suggest? Thanks!

Nothing lol
Well I guess I'll order up some .7mm ribbon and see if I can fit it into my evod protanks, probably try to aim for 1.8 ohms. This will be my first attempt at wraping my own coils, so stop me if you guys think the .7mm won't fit. I'll wait a few days to see if anybody replys before I place my order.

Temco 0.7 x 0.1 mm Resistance: 6.58 (Ohms/ft. @ room temp):

If anybody is interested I purchased 0.6mm x 0.1mm temco wire. 7 wraps around a 5/64" drill bit gives you 1.5 ohms, it's an extremely tight fit. I have to say the flavor is much better but my little battery just needs more power to run at them ohms. I'm going to order up some 0.4mm x 0.1mm temco wire I guess, 0.5mm x 0.1mm temco wire would probably work but I'm going to play it safe this time.
