ATM I'm compiling information so I can delve into diy. I tend to go nuts once my mind is focused on something and i have to learn it all....I've read here that microwaves in short burst help on a molecular level. Heat breaks nic down. What is a safe heat to use? I have a baby wipe warmer that I was thinking could aid in a warm steep. Anybody used one?

Microwaving e-liquid sounds like a bad idea to me. It would be way too easy to overhear the liquid and ruin it.

For liquids that I want to steep quickly, I use a slow-cooker set at low (at or around 150°) for about four hours. It's easy and reliable.

Best way I've found as well. I use a mini-crock pot, no temp setting. Put the bottles in a zip lock (to keep the labels dry) and let sit in the warmer for 4 hours, then shake like a paint can.
The benefits are more notable on more complex flavors, like tobacco or dessert flavors, at least to me.
