mid-michigan battery vendors?

Anybody know of a spot reasonably close to Lansing where I can buy protected 14500 batteries? KVS has them but is a bit of a drive - I'd think in a town this size somebody would have them but batteries Plus was kinda useless and all I got from local hobby and electronics shops was a blank look.
