What is it?

A milestone section would be where members can create thread's on their targets or just a 'rave' thread of their success.

Why would this be good?

This would be useful for those aiming towards a no smoking target, eg 3months. Other members can give them support and just give members a boost, even with a PV, some people will/do find it hard to quit.

Also for those who have hit a milestone, it's always nice to be congratulated and make them feel better!

What's your views on a section like this?

I do so agree with this suggestion. Unless you are part of a particular suppliers forum, or as Mary Kay pointed out, a member of the Women's Room, there really isnt anywhere you can shout out on reaching a milestone.

And to reach a year of not smoking, is an important one, which so many have already reached without the praise they so deserve.

I remember when I was coming up to my 1,000th post I wanted to shout out about it, and had to look around for where to do so, I ended up in the Vets Forum, so Milestones would be good.
