not very helpful but I'll try...started on the 901 last Thanksgiving. like it a lot, good beginner kit. good vapor, excellent flavor (I drip)...I am still using my first atomizer that came with the kit, also use a second one I got as a back-up, rotate them both evenly, wash maybe once a month...I still use it every day, am a pretty heavy vapor, but use another device for about 4 hours a day...I believe attys are about $10 and batts $11 through one vendor I use, but back when I got them I bought bulk packs - attys were 10 for $37, don't recall on batteries...I use both auto and manual batts...I recomend for a beginner. I bet with research you'd find replacement parts much cheaper nowadays...good luck!

Only downside is I don't know if there are any cartomizers around for it. If you want to use cartomizers you may need a 901 to 808 (aka 901 to KR808D-1) adapter to use Vapor4Life prefilled cartos or KR808D-1 blank cartos. 901 and KR8 have the same threads but 901 needs the adapter to provide air-intake notches for the cartos.

Also, most people on the forum use manual batteries on ecigs but the nice 901 PCCs with the hard tubular battery sections do not fit manual batteries and can rip off or damage the buttons. With autos you need to be more careful about juice drips, especially from cartomizers (the juice would aim right for the drag sensor of an auto battery).

Nice airy gentle vape on a 901 and good flavor though. I've used DSE901 attys on my Vapor4Life KR8 (no adapter needed going in that direction since the atty has its own air intake hole).

I have 901 cartomizers, and my pcc fits my manual batteries as well, there is a 'niche', just be sure to put the button there, it is one of the nice metal ones...I only found cartomizers at one place (that would not need an adaptor), I'd have to check my receipts to see where I got it from, works good tho, and it's true you're not supposed to drip on autos but I have been on the same two batts since 11/10 with no issues

Hello & welcome Knoof :)

The mini DSE901 is a good starter kit if you want to start with a smallish sized e-cig. I started off, coming up to 3 years ago with a super mini (RN4081) but soon changed to the mini DSE901 & loved it. In fact I still prefer the 901 atomisers & use them on my big battery mods :)
