After I posted my thread I read your thread. I don't think anyone has used them yet. However, they should be out by next week. The way this tank looks I think I am sold on it. Forget the mini protank. This is basically what the Mini Protank 2 should be like.

The real question is why didn't Kanger make their mini protank like the Mini Davide. I feel like Kanger is always a step behind.

1 - the Mini davide seems to be the mini protank killer.
2 - the PuriTank is the ProTank Killer
3 - the PuriTank will compete withe ProTank 2

( ProTank 2 will be better in that it has no glue holding the glass and you can clean it better, PuriTank will be better in that it has less holes on the base, so no modding needed )

4 - The Davide Glassomizer seems like will beat both the ProTank 2 and the PuriTank. Only thing I am not sure of is how many holes does the Davide ( large size, not mini ) have in the base. If it has 2 holes like the PuriTank then this tank is the best tank.

You're the expert on those tanks.
Keep us updated after you get this.

I saw your link on another post. Thank you for posting that link. This is exactly what tanks should be like. One thing I am not sure of is how many holes the base has. I looked really hard at the video but couldn't tell. If it is 2 holes like the PuriTank then this will be the best tank ever ( again, I am just speaking in theory, haven't tried it yet ) If it has 3 then only trying it will tell. But the Air Flow controller will solve any airy issue in a heart beat, so not really concerned too much. I can't wait to get my hands on this. By the way, these tanks were supposed to go on sale today but have been pushed back to july 30 for some reason.

The Davide is way better than the Protank II to me personally. The pyrex is thicker and doesn't crack or break as easily and I like the wider selection of colors. The mini Davide over the mini Protank is a no brainer...ya get to use your own tips. I've had some problems with some of my tips working with the PT2, but not my Davide. And if you are having issues with the Mini Davide airy or flavor issue, take one or both of the lose coils out and it works much better. Taste wise, the Davide wins over the PT2 IMHO!

I definitely second this - I have both PT and Davide (full size) and the D comes apart completely, which the PT has now incorporated with the PT2 - overall the Davide just delivers a better taste for whatever reason in that they are both almost identical in terms of coil location.

really? I've heard from multiple unrelated sources that the davide has a very "off" taste. Some people has said it tastes like glue. I know PBusardo has said this in one of his reviews....but also I've seen several people mention it here as well.

Also, in case anyone is interested, the protank (the first one) has been upgraded. It no longer has any glue in it.

I'm almost ready to go with the Davide tank... but I can't seem t o find a vendor who sells replacement heads....!?? (even the ones who sell the Davide tank)
I know the PT heads are interchangeable on the Davide... is that what everyone is doing?

In a word, Yes. The PT2 heads work just fine in the Davide.

I own both the mini Davide and just got a PT2. Haven't used the PT2 yet, mainly because I got it to set on my new Vamo V3 (which I'm still waiting on), and the Davide is working perfectly.

It is an airy draw, but you get use to it. Plus, because on the mini the holes are on the skirt, you can cover 1 or 2 holes with your finger if it gets to you that much.
