Mini Mod w/top switch

Nothing really new; just wanted to see how it would be to move the switch to the top instead of on the side. I used it when I had jury duty this week and I guess I'm so used to having the switch on the side I fumbled to find it.

Using 2.2ohm atomizer seems to be kinder on the battery. Dunno for sure; just seems like they are better than the 1.5's.

Plus side: moving the switch to the positive connection a wire was eliminated.
Minus side: takes add'l work to mod it.

I'll probably go back to the switch on the side

Hey para long time no see, Nice work on mini. That thing is small. I just got me a few of those tactile switches the other day in my mouser order. Now i just need to figure something to use them in.

Haven't been on Modder in a while. I love those tactile switches. I know they are rated for .5a, but I've never had one fail (knock wood). However, I always install them so it's easy to replace when one does. lol

Only other thing I've done lately is a Mini GGTS Passthru and adapter for the Iatty. Sweet....really sweet setup

Maybe you can help me locate something....that Tenergy DC-DC in your avatar. I've looked everywhere for one of those and the only sites I've found are out of stock. Is it not made anymore?

Top or Side, it's still looks good Para.

I use the same tact, it is wonderful. But I use it on the Low current Dig. Pot control.
You can parallel the two sets of contacts to double the amperage.

Although, there is one add'l advantage to the top mount. Your finger is in perfect position to stealth pick your nose.

Yeah they discontinued them. When i got mine it was on clearance for cheap i think 19 bucks 24 shipped. That was almost a year ago. I dont know of anything else like it out there. Just did some looking a guy has one on ebay bundled with some other stuff. More then i would want to pay though. I will pm you the link just in case your interested.
