Mini Protank 2 not fitting on Kamry K100?

I recently purchased a kamry k100, i love it! I was also given two free Mini Protank 2's..... I read online that the T3 wont fit on the K100 because the ego threads are too large. I have yet to see anywhere that says the mini protanks wont fit. I noticed that the base of the tanks are a tad smaller than that of an evod. Has anyone else had this problem or is just poor threading?

T3's won't fit on a k100 since the base of the T3 is wider than the opening. Evods fit just fine along with the protank mini. Maybe the inside positive pin of the k100 might be a bit low, you just get a small screwdriver and wiggle that pin up some. There are many YouTube videos of nifty fixes like that. You might also think about getting a 510/ego adapter since I have some mechs that don't like to fire the protank mini's unless I use a 510/ego and their center pins don't move at all. You also coulda squished the silicone insulator on the bottom of the protank head and back to YouTube to get a fix for that also.

Does it not fit or is it like it screws in as far as it can go but needs to turn just a little more.

I've seen problems on other units where it screws on but needs to screw in a little further; end up having to use a 510/ego adapter otherwise you can get it to work by filing off a millimeter or two from the miniprotank base.
