MINI rda love

Our order just came in from EC blends (samples) and i forgot to get some 510 atomizers for sampling. Id hate to have to clean a clearomizer every time i wanted to try a new flavor. So i decided to go to my local B&M shop and see if there stock came in. Last time i talked to the guy he said that they should have Attys in on wendsday for $7. I walk in the door and ask if they came in. YEP he said and points into the case......... Um i dont see them. He takes out a tiny little thing. My wife says look how cute it is! Im thinking Well its not a bridgless atty. NOPE i was right ! Its a Mini rda !!! Bought 2 to test out the flavors. Not to shabby for such a lil thing.

Its got the 510 connection and is the same Cir as the E-go style battery. 2 rubber seals on the bottom and a baby well to hold.... air. LOL the wick in it is about 1/2 inch possibly less. And the coil works but dang if its not a hack job. But for testing flavors its perfect! 2 drops gets you a great idea. And the mini wick go's dry and is ready for a new flavor. Drip tip is a lil wobbly but not coming out without me wanting it to. But it vapes great for me!

All in all I can now say im in love with this. And i cant wait to get a bigger and better rda!

SO anyone on here have one? And what size wire/wick would be good for it? 32G ??

32 gauge would work but 30 gauge is a little easier to work with.

Biggest thing is you need to have a way to test resistance (Ohms) when you build to make sure it is at a safe level and no shorts.

If you have a multi-meter or a mod that can test ohms, awesome! As for wick I use sterile cotton balls from the first aid department of my local pharmacy. Pinch of just a little and twist it between your fingers and thread it through until it's just snug. Trim, drip and enjoy! (cotton will have a taste to it for the first few toots but it goes away, then it's nothing but sweet flavor!)

Sounds to me like a Smok Mini RDA nicknamed "the squid". Here's a picture of mine.. (is this what you got OP?)

Phoenix rda's are fairly cheap, common, and around ego size.

I recommend 28 or 29g kanthal, lower the gauge wire the thicker it is, thicker means easier to move, shape, and build with.

I got a purple squid from Fasttech and I love it! But yeah, I was shocked when I finally saw how tiiiiiiny it was.

I have a squid & an Igo S. Love them both but I like the Igo a little more. Mostly it's because I like having actual screws instead of the ones you hand tighten. Anyway, I use 30g micro coil @ 1.2-1.4 ohms with cotton wick. It's been a while since I used the squid but the Igo produces great flavor & reasonable vapor considering the air hole size. I like it just as much on my Reo as I do my RM2.

Mine looks like yours...flat deck, no insulator outside, with a well under the center screw.
