So I just picked up an el cheapo mini rda for my b&m shop down the road, my first experience with an rda, so I could get the hang of it before I jump on the IGO-L rda. highly impressed with the vapor production and the flavor. Kinda nervous about the rebuild when the time comes because of the confined space I have to do it in. Any tips on building a itty bitty coil? Thanks!

just take the wick and a paperclip and wrap one up i think the mini has thumbscrews and holes in the posts, kinda helps out a bit.
and yea it takes a couple tries then its nothing to it.

I cant post the link here at work but "vapingwithdave" on you tube has a cool vid where he uses a 4/40 machine screw to make a nice evenly spaced coil.
Magnifying glass, vise (wood-type, better). These stuff can make mini/micro jobs easier alot esp if you've been vapin" too much

I have actually deformed some, especially the aluminum ones, with that vise. Oh my! Heck, at my age and shaking hands, badly needs some helping hands Dunno if I'm vaping too much or I'm missing some stuff from the analogs. Magnifying glass is definitely my best friend
My first RBA wrap went well
Wrapping the coils are really easier than you would expect.
Its attaching it to the screws that's the booger.
knowing that lefty loosey righty tighty will help or hurt you.
Always make sure that your wire lands on the left side of the contact screw (If that makes any sense at all)
So when you tighten it the wire grabs and holds securely.
If it was on the right side of the screw it will naturally try to push it off the screw.
Until you master it don't be scared to waste some wire. Leave enough to play with.

Ok update! Just wrapped my first coil....SUCCESS! It came out at 1.3 ohms and just blows the vapor out! Very good moral builder. I used the Allen wrench that came with my RDA and it worked like a champ. Thanks for all the helpful input ECFers!
It makes me want to throw these novas and protanks and cartos in the trash. I am amazed at the vapor production from this RDA that is as big around as an ego battery. Amazing. Thanks for all the adviceCongrats!!!

I enjoy the tinkering. It only took about 3 mins if that to do it.
You need to vape on one you built yourself.
It's worth all the effort.
After about 4-5 builds you will get better and
cut your time into minutes.
I build 1.5 ohm coils in 3 minutes
