I don't see what the big deal with vivi novas are? I have gone through 5 total, 3 vision novas and 2 real vivi novas. All of them have a horrible nasty burnt plastic taste. Doesn't matter if I go from 3.0volts-6.0 or same with Watts. I have tried all the "quick vivi nova fix" things on the forum and none of them work, from removing one wick, to removing the metal piece in the silicone etc etc. I have even tried every head, 1.8ohm to 2.8 and always the same nastiness.

That's interesting. As a new vapor I love hearing these differing opinions. What do you regularly use that you are pleased with?

i think you are in the minority....i've had about 5 of them and not one of them has ever leaked or provided weak vape, plastic taste etc

i use all 50/50 juices ...maybe with the thinner juices its wicking too well??

Never had a Vivi leak or have a bad taste from the Mini or the 3.5 Atomizer heads last us a good month or more as long as we clean them a couple times per week( clean tank and all parts) . We've been using the Vision mini Vivi Nova for well over 3 months and they have never given us any trouble. Very easy to fill and and change the atomizer on. We have found for us, the 1.8 ohm head works for better vapor and taste. BUT, that's us..LOL We use a 50/50 pg/vg and never a dry or burnt hit

im using the 2.4...i think the one thing is that the heads arent really that accurate my 2.4 will meter at 2.8 sometimes while the 2.8 meters at 3.1 or so...for this reason i think they only make sense on a variable volt set up

True...my 2.4 heads read anywhere from 2.6 to 3.1 normally...

Actually, vivi nova is the best among mid-tier set ups, easy to use and put out excellent vapor and flavor.

With your issues, i would

- check the drip tip. Sometimes they color the flavor. Try a stainless steel one if you are not.
- check for hot spots right out of the box: sometimes youre burning too fast into the wick because of a hot spot.
- after that, vape a tank full of unflavored juice to break in. New wicks always have a distinct taste, but after breaking them in the taste goes away

Hope this helps. Im still using novas and they always deliver, even though sometimes a little tweaking is needed

Cheers,

-K

I've tried both 1.8 and 2.4 the taste and vapor is better in the 1.8 but after 1 tank i got the dry burt hit. i put the 2.4 back in and doing ok how many volts are you vaping at? Mine voltages are 3.3 and 4.1
