Yeah, what a day. I see they've been closing roads again. It doesn't take much snow when you have 40 mph + winds, to end up with a full fledged blizzard.

It appears the Twin cities was about the only place a person could travel today. All our highways around here finally got closed, and I'm getting cabin fever.

Seems like the Twin Cities is doing better than down here. Wind blowing like crazy, streets are a sheet of ice oh for fun and joy!

If the weather holds out (driving conditions at least) I'm taking my oldest daughter (10 y.o.) to Duluth at the end of the week! It'll be both of our first time to see the Lakes!
With all the MN vapers, why don't one of you open a store so I can drop in and buy my supplies instead of waiting on the postman?!?!

316, by sort of, I meant online meeting isn't really meeting, is it? And, you can save your ugly bullheads for the Iowegians. That's their walleye substitute.

Nekkid guy, I think we'd need a lot more vapers in this state to support a shop. It would be nice, though. Never seen Lake Superior? You must be living in a box. I hope you and your daughter make it because I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Be sure to head up the north shore and check out the state parks.
If the roads stay decent, I'm heading east to Wabasha, Redwing and Rochester, in search of the Golden Eagle. I've never seen one and I'd really like to get a good photo of one.
Maybe if enough MN vapers are found, we could plan a vaper get together.

Took my father-in-law up to the VA today. Roads were clear. Heard they finally opened up 90 from Albert Lea to the South Dakota border. The county roads finally opened up today as well.
It'd be great to have a MN vaper get together.

But I grew up in Austin, MN area and have purple running thru my veins! I will always be a Minnesotan! One of my boys lives in the Duluth area now, beautiful.

Wisconsin is close enough, aschmidy. Nice to see you here. If things go as planned, I'll be in WI in a few days, just across the river. Where in WI are you? We plan on vacationing in LaCrosse this summer. It's a beautiful area.
We lived in LaCrosse for 9 years! Just moved to the Tomah area about 8 years ago. LaCrosse is one of the most beautiful areas I have ever seen, it still takes my breath away.
We have wolves, bear and mountain lions where we live now. Had a bear on my deck one spring, eww. Still getting use to this living in the woods...

I see you're just 45 miles from LaCrosse now. I think it would be an awesome area for nature photography and bass fishing. I'd love to live in the woods with wolves, bears and mountain lions. Well, maybe not the lions. They're a little more unpredictable. I didn't realize that area was so wild. Cool!
