Minor ego problem

I have an joye ego, and am using regular 510 atomizers, with a drip tip. I have a minor problem with one of the batteries. I cannot draw at all when using the cone. I have tried different atomizers, and a different cone, and the problem is definitely the battery. Looking at it visually, it appears the atomizer sits a little lower in that battery than in my other battery. It behaved correctly up until a few days ago.

It draws fine when not using the cone.

It does not seem flooded or anything like that, although it is hard to tell what is under the center post.

As I said, not a huge deal. I just don't use the cone with that battery. Just wondering if there is a fix to this problem.

I'll defer to the more technical vapors on a fix, but i find that I can rarely use the cone on my ego's with cartomizers. When I use an atty and drip tip, I have no problems with the draw, but with cartos the draw is much stiffer and I seem to get a burnt taste more often.

I am not getting a stiff draw. I am getting no draw at all. Oh, and good luck against Kansas or Fla St, depending. Must be a good time down there in Richmond. I almost picked VCU to go three rounds, but chickened out.

Depending on how I hold it, I get either stiff or no draw...so I chucked the cone!

I took a tapered punch and widened the small end of the cone for cartomizers.

Check the holes on the threads of the atty. I use LR 510 and have problems with the seal blocking the 2 tiny holes after a couple days. I found that if I use baby snot sucker with hot water to pump water in and out then soaking in vodka over night then pumping again the next day and leaving it out to dry for another day works. Its a loooong process. Good thing I got 4 of them attys and reg 510s if I need. So try a full blown clean job and let it sit in dry rice or gently shove paper towel in it for a day.
