Quick Ego/Tornado Battery Question

Hi All
Had my Tornado since mid last week and I use it along with my 510 throughout the day.
I think when the battery is dead it's supposed to go red to let you know to recharge it?
Do you think it's better to just put a new battery in every day or to let the battery go dead before putting the new battery in?
I'm a bit worried that I'll ruin my batteries if I don't let them completely run out before charging them.

One other quick Q: I really like this product so far but I find the vapour and taste quite weak when the cone is on. I'm getting into the habit of using it without the cone (which is a shame because it looks a lot nicer with all the bits on!) so wondered if there are many other Ego/Tornado users who vape solely without the cone on?

Thanks

I'm not sure if there are any differences with the Tornado but with the eGo the button/light is white and it flashes(still white) multiple times when the battery needs to be charged.

You won't ruin it by recharging it before it flashes though.

In my experience I haven't noticed any decreased vapor from having the cone on.

On my Tornado, the button on the battery flashes white when it's drained and needs to be charged.

I don't always drain the batteries dead. It's not harmful to recharge before it's completely drained.

I personally find an increase in the "fullness" of the vapor with the cone on. I'm finally able to experience the flavors of my e-liquids. If anything, I find vapor production to be a little superior as well in comparison to my regular 510s.

Are you finding the vapor weak because you experience a harder draw with the cone on?

It must just be me then. I do find it easier to draw with the cone off but it could be because I'm a bit greedy with the big long suck it dry in one hit draws. I've also run out of my fav liquids so it's harder for me to tell about the flavour until my new stocks arrive- but my tastebuds so far prefer the flavour with cone off.
Thanks:)

fumerfrancaise,

I totally get the big greedy long suck-it-in dry in one hit draws!

I tend to do the same thing - and I'm pretty much a "vapor hog" with the constant hitting on it.

I'm really not doing that with the Tornado though - it's weird.

I have seen other people say that they prefer the flavor with the cone off - so I suppose it's all a matter of personal preference :)

Finally got my Tornado today!! I am loving it! I was afraid after reading some people seem to have problems with the draw. I have not had any problems...and the vapor seems to be doubled!! The only thing I have changed is the batts. I am still using the atty and cart I was using on my 510, so it has to be the battery and cone combo. I'm really enjoying this. Once my niquids get here, I am hoping this will be IT...and the end of my analogs,

The only time I experience an overly-stout draw or reduced vapor (not atty health related) with my tornado is when e-liquid has leaked out between the cart and atty between top offs. The liquid gets in the space between the cart and cone and plugs up the air intake. A q-tip and paper towel takes care of it and it draws great when clean.

As for cone vs. no cone, I don't think it adds to the vapor production if you consciously draw in a certain way (light, but not too light...I go by the sound) with it off. The cone merely guarantees a near perfect draw, great for beginners and auto-pilot-no-hassle use. It does however, hold heat which I notice in a warmer more pleasant draw. It might add to the vapor after extended periods of use, but it isn't dramatic enough to say for sure. The best part of the cone, to me, besides looks, is the dampening of the sound. I hate hearing the whistle (however slight) of an uncovered atty.

When I first ordered the tornado I got the 5 pack, I did not get the cone. After hearing good things about it I got one. As for me it was ok, but most of the time I use it without it. I use an adapter and use kr8 cartomizers alot. I carry an atomizer and a cartomizer and bounce between the two. It does look better with the cone though.
