Missing info in the thread information box

Can not see if anyone else is there.....people aren't posting because they think no one they wish to speak to is there to see their posts...

copied from a thread in which I know that other members are having the same issue.....can only see their own name....and no one else :

yep.....and it's not a matter of members being invisible. I am one of those in the thread at the same time and see only myself. Last night with 3 knowns in the thread it only showed me and 1 other member.....not even acknowledging the other 2 (not running invisi) were there in any way.

That's why I noted they aren't invisi......myself, yiddle, and mattie .... all 3 not invisi last night and this morning in the same thread at the same time do not see each other nor do we see that they are there in number. We all saw the exact same thing as yiddle noted in the op.....to a t. Last night all 3 of us only saw ourself and 1 other member in the same thread when we knew that all 3 of us were in there at the same time.

sorry to disagree.....none of us are in invisible mode....but we don't show to each other as being there......the same with others who are actively posting in the thread....not invisi, but not showing as being there

In this areas of the forum, you can not see those that are invisible, you don't have any moderating powers here

If you are switching windows from thread to thread, you are probably refreshing at just the right time to see/not see each other...it isn't a Live Status Box.

I am aware of that entirely.....Yiddle isn't running invisible

That wasn't the case at all last night, nor this morning before Yiddle started this thread. All 3 of us were in the same thread that I pm'd you with no other refreshes in any other tab. Other members were seeing the same thing last night.

annnnd...you will only show for the thread you were in at that time - even tho you have multiple threads open, you can only be in one at a time

Hence the vanishing/reappearing act
