Quick question regarding charging with the xtar vp1... It has 3 different levels of charging. 0.25, .5, and 1A. Which setting should I use for these aw imr batteries? I want to make sure I don't do anything dumb

Thanks

Any of those settings will work and not damage your AW IMRs. If you have plenty of batteries in rotation, aren't concerned about lengthy charging times and want the max number of charging cycles out of your batteries, set it to .25A. If you're less concerned about charging cycles and have little time to wait for your batteries to charge, set it to 1A. .5A is a good trade-off between longer battery life and speedy charging. .5A is also the rate at which your basic $17 Tenergy charger that came with your kit charges. I usually charge 18350, 18490 and 18650 @ .5A, but I'm glad I have 1A and 2A options for when I'm pressed for time.

the battery fully charged is 4.2 but the provari actually checks the battery under a small load.
most new batteries need a couple charges to adjust and really open up.
I have the vp1 and so far it charges to exactly 4.2 if i leave the battery on or fall asleep it will hold the charge at 4.19

while it is known that all batteries have a maximum charging rate, batteries do have a minimum charge current as well for example the newer panny's ask fr a min of .6a or higher. since there are no specs for AW who knows if they need the same.

Alright I got the rest of my vape mail in yesterday so I got to check out a few things. First of all I love this xtar vp1 charger. So much better than the cheap one from pro vape. Money well spent.. The other mail that came in was my first carto tank from IBtanked. Boy is this thing a pain... Probably because it's my first crack at carto tanks but man... I think I ruined 2 cartos by not priming them properly. Today I spent almost 30 minutes of filling the carto, letting it soak in, repeating this until I saw the cotton on the laser slotted boge get saturated. This process alone makes me not want to deal with it..

That seemed to do the trick and I have been vaping on it and a Davide BCC with the same resistance, juice etc to compare. I have to say I think I like the Davide better than anything else I have tried. It may be the cooler vape of the bcc, or maybe the simplicity. It just goes to show that everything in vaping is completely subjective.. I will keep using it and maybe it will grow on me but priming the carto was a nightmare..

I would really like to get into dripping. I tried a cheap little atomizer but can't get it to work to save my life. I think I got it once but it wasn't very enjoyable. The ebaron pro looks like something I would like to try but getting one is a hassle it seems. Any other suggestions to help me enjoy dripping? Sometimes I would like to just swap flavors every 5-10 minutes without having to empty tanks and such
