Really there are only ten numbers 0-9. Don't make it complicated it's all in how they are arranged.

Got 6mg and add 3mg same amounts.
3mg is half of 6mg. So it looks like 9mg but I know that since 3 is less that it must reduce the mg.
So, since it is 3mg less than it must be 3mg together.
Right?

That is what I thought but 4 is just 1 more. Maybe everyone who answerd thinks i was asking about mls/volume and not mg/strength. It is very confusing!

Well you answered first and it was the right answer cause everyone agreed so even though you didn't explain in more detail it was ok by me <-- long sentence
You were doubling your volume but diluting your strength by 50%. (just lucky for everyone that figured it out, that you were using even numbers or it may have taken them fractionally longer to figure it out. As everyone knows; Fractions are insidious - that's why they invented decimals).

36mg nic- 20mls 5 times
PG- 1 second splash
^first time trying unflavored and I am really, really liking it. Chain vaping like a noOb again!
Kitchen Sink
Half a Mason jar of various juices that were too strong when paired with the RM2
Fill up jar with VG
20mls of 36mg nic
Target nic- don't care anymore. It's somewhere between 6 and 12.

For me as for now I am liking 3 and 4.5. I just had so much 6 i decided to cut it down with the 3. It works good enough for me
