It's a gram of crystals. IIRC 1 gram is approximately 1/4 teaspoon of crystals. If you bought them from Wizard Labs, the glass tube is 7 grams total. So 1/7 of the container.

PS Warming the PG will help in dissolving the crystals.
If you're measuring with something graduated, fill it with propylene glycol to 9.2 mL, then fill with ethyl maltol until it reads 10 mL with the crystals completely submerged. This will give you almost exactly 1 g EM to 10 mL solution.

Interesting concept. Never though to do it that way with a graduated cylinder but I think that would work quite well. I think you can also do that in a 10ml syringe by just taking the needle off and putting a syrange cap on and pulling out the plunger.
