I got my big sample pack (like $40 worth of 6ml samples) today, and think I accidently discovered my all-day-vape.

One of my samples was an 18mg 70/30 menthol, which was awesome on it's own. Another sample was a 12mg 70/30 lemon-lime that was good but not great. So, I decided to get creative, and filled a stardust with 1ml of menthol, and .6ml of lemon-lime. Together, they are amazing. Greater than the sum of their parts. I plan to ask the vendor I ordered from if they can premix this combo for me in a big jug on my next order. Just to make it clear, it tasted/felt so good that I gave myself a headache from chain-vaping it for too long and had to put it down. I was a 1.5 pack/day smoker until 5 days ago, so that says A LOT considering this stuff is probably around 15-17mg after mixing them.

So, has anyone else had any success tinkering with juices like this? I'd love to try experimenting more since my desk is starting to look more like a pharmacy than a battlestation :)

Also, in case you remember my last post, I got over the sore throat/sinus thing, it was definitely tobacco withdrawal. Now, if I could just stop coughing, that would be awesome. That being said, it's the same cough I had when I quit with the patch so at least I know where it's coming from (hint: not vaping).

EDIT: BTW, this plays into my previous realization that vaping isn't only a cigarette replacement, but also a hobby. Gear aside, flavour combos are really exciting for me. I'm a total foodie, so the idea of mixing this stuff together like that made sense to me, but wasn't something I'd considered before I started. I plan to do some hardcore research on DIY mixing over the next little while. As long as I don't need a full blown lab to make this stuff, I'll be all over it.

My first few bottles were "meh". I couldn't decide what to do about juices, so I ordered a small bottle of Blueberry from a local vendor. While I waited for it to come, I went to a local "head shop" and bought a bottle of Vanilla and Watermelon. I had two 30ml bottles of a "light" Menthol and a "dark" Menthol from my very first order, so I thought "Why not?" and added some of the light to the Watermelon and the dark to the Vanilla. Wow! Totally changed the flavor dynamic and made it enjoyable!

I experimented a bit and found I could punch up the Vanilla just enough with a few drops of the menthol, and it totally works!

As an engineering tech, I agree with you: vaping is defiantly in the "tinkering" category for me. Voltages, resistances, plasticity, ambient temperature, flux capacitance all play a factor in getting a good vape going :]

Oh i love tinkering with juices. I'll add menthol to almost any fruit vape. Another guilty pleasure has been cinnamon & French vanilla. The Hot cinnamon candy from the vapor room tastes more like a cinnamon stick (the real kind not the candy) & is fantastic mixed with their French vanilla (which is decadent) I think i may try and add a bit of the cinnamon to my vanilla caramel cappuccino this week just for giggles, it really doesn't need any work
