mixing pure nic

Some of you may remeber me, order took 14 days, bitter RY4 with NO carmel flavor, and flavorless cappuccino....i may order some of these flavors to add to my juices so i can taste them,,, but on to the next issue..

When i ordered i left an order note asking FSUSA to include some charts on mixing nicotine in my order, I even asked dave on the phone, he said "yeah, there are charts" well, they forgot to send them, if they ever were going to. No biggie

What i am here for now, if anyone is kind enough and knowledgeable enough to help me is mixing amounts.. I have many many 10 ml bottle that are too low in nic strength. They are all 0-6-8 mgs nic. I bought the 100% pure nic from FSUSA to strengthen these 10 ml bottles. I would like to know how much in mgs would a drop of pure nic strengthen a 10ml bottle of juice. If its impossible to do this using drops as a measurement, i do have syringes also, but would rather use drops if possible. If any of you could help me with this , i would be in your debt.

Thanks in advance guys, if your able to help me with this. I dont want to ruin these juices or make myself sick. Thanks.

Here is the calculator that I use and you may want to read that DIY section of this forum to be sure and take all of the necessary precautions when handling. Good luck!

eJuice Recipe Calculator

PS If you add nic you will change the Vg/PG ratio and weaken the flavor somewhat. Remember the nicotine is measured per ml instead of drop. If you have nic juice that is 36 mgs it is 36 mgs in an entire ml hardly any per drop.

It will say on the bottle. You probably got the 100 mg. That is 100 mg in 1 ml. It is still suspended in PG. so when you look at that calculator put 100 mg in the first box and go from there. Wear gloves and be careful not to get it on your skin as it is fast absorbing. Make sure that you have paper towels close by to quickly wipe up any spills and claen any equipment/surfaces thouroughly when you are done.

See if this makes sense to you. If you have a 10 ml bottle of 8mg juice, you have 80 mgs in the entire bottle. 8 mgs per ml x 10 ml bottle = 80 mgs. If you add 1 ml of 100 mg per ml nic you would then have 11 mls in your bottle. Take the 80 mgs that you already have and add the 100 mgs that you added. Divide it by the total of 11 mls that you end up with.
180 mgs divided by 11 mls total = 16.36 mgs
So your juice would now have 16.36 mgs per ml instead of 8 mgs per ml

FreedomSmokeUSA Frustration is setting in again.

So, is the liquid in the bottle 99.98% nicotine, or is it 100mg per ml nicotine, ... OR is that the same thing,,, where as 100mg of nicotine is 1 ml??? Is it both? What is the volume of 100mgs of nicotine??? would it be 1 ml ?

It's definitely not the same thing. Something is not right.

99% pure nic requires all sorts of stringent safety precautions/equipment to handle in a safe manner, least of which would be an approved exhaust ventilation system just for the fumes it dissipates.

100mg per ml nic can be handled/mixed safely at home with mainly common sense prevailing.

FWIW ...100mg strength nic juice is also sold as 10% nic juice.

Guess i am going to contact FSUSA about this. This order just wont die.

We have been more than helpful to you with your order. As David stated above, the questions that you have are related to beginners DIY and should really be directed to the DIY portion of this forum. Good luck :)

Don't you think a DIY-er should know what he has ordered from a supplier? On the suppliers item description, it says 99.98% pure nicotine.. and 100mg/ml....... I came here, to the suppliers forum to have this clarified, and your telling me i should go to a different section to find out what I purchased from this supplier??

And who has been more than helpful?? NO ONE has helped me a single bit. All I seem to get is you people blowing smoke up my *&^&*^%.

Let me see if I can help you to understand your order IQUITSMOKING. The 99.98 % value represents the purity of the nicotine used. Not the value of the amount added to your unflavored e-liquid. That was 100 mg (milligrams) per milliliter or 10 % nicotine content of the total volume of your order of your unflavored e-liquid. Please be very careful handling and mixing this concentrated unflavored e-liquid. You can make yourself very sick if not diluted properly. This is why other fokes here suggested you look through the DIY section and post your questions there as I do too recommend you do so. We want you to remain safe and enjoy your vaping experience. I hope this clears up some of your confusion.

Just as an aside, the nicotine is 99.98 percent pure, and suspended in either PG or VG at 100mg per ML.

I think you are confusing the purity of the nicotine with it's suspension properties: 100mg per ML.

Hope that helps.

Well IQuitSmoking, here we are again and more mean posts from you. English is a difficult language and its clear you don't understand a word these folks are telling you. Have you considered picking up the telephone and calling David and talking to him about this - or are you afraid all your negative, nasty posts and Threads have turned everyone against you?

Do this. First, go to Wikipedia and do some reading about what it is your playing with here. I certainly hope you are keeping the nicotine away from children, pets, your skin and your mouth. It can be dangerous, even life threatening.

Next, go to some nice e-juice supplier and order what you need. It sure as #$%@ doesn't sound to me like you need to be messing with this stuff or even attempting DIY'ing until you know more about what your doing. If you're broke pm me your address and I'll pay to have some good juice shipped to you.

Then go to the DIY Forum like everyone is telling you to do and make yourself smart on DIY'ing before you attempt to do it.

Can you understand all this? I actually do speak some other languages if that would help.
