I am about ready to try to mix my first batch of juice. Quick question: i ordered a e-juice from ruyandirect.com - is it PG or VG? If it is PG then can i mix it with VG or does it have to be PG(goal is as much smoke as possible)? Which brand is the best in you exp.? I am hoping to pick it up at some pharmacy or health store(also recomendations welcomed).
2) Little dropper bottles - are they available in any BM store(like pharmacy or health store)? What is your fav?
If it matters i am in Boston, MA
Thanks to all and wish me luck!

The taller food dye bottles work great as droppers. I am a noob, and was running around trying to find a good dropper bottle. No dice! I then realized I had some dye bottles in my kitchen. The tall ones work great for liquid! You can pop the dropper portion out and rinse them out completely, surprisingly there is no dye residue. So far these are working out for me.

here's a litte advice, whenever I mix stuff, like add more VG or PG to liquids, or mix different flavours, I always hold the bottle with the final mixture under running hot water for 10-20-30 seconds.....the heat thins out the PG and VG a bit (only while it's still warm mind you) and makes mixing it a little easier and more thorough. Once it cools down it's back to it's original consistency.

I believe Ruyan's liquids are PG based. As far as what's 'right' adding PG or VG, there is no right or wrong, it's just preference. I actually add both. My rule of thumb is this: I will fill approximately 30-40% of whatever bottle I'm using with VG. After adding the nic liquid and flavorings, if there's room left I top it off with PG.

There is no best 'brand' when it comes to PG/VG. As long as it's USP. By all means buy locally if you want to, but if you want to save LOTS of money, use http://www.essentialwholesale.com/product_p/272.htm for Glycerine and/or PG, and Generic - Propylene Glycol #338-230-Z for PG.

You can't get better bottles cheaper than at United States Plastic Corporation ®

If you prefer glass bottles, use Amber Boston Round Glass Bottles - Specialty Bottle
