What would the mg be if I mix half 12mg with half 3mg

I'm guessing 7.5mg. I subtract 3 from 12 (9), divide in half (4.5), then add to 3 (7.5).

Save a step, @smacuser! Just add the values and cut them in half (as if you had mixed a mL of each).

12mg + 3mg = 15mg, divide by 2mL = 7.5 mg/mL
