MENKE recently announced that they will no longer be making the MNKE 18650 batteries any more, so you probably should choose another battery. I can provide you with some alternatives for a high amp battery like the MNKE:

AW IMR
18650 1600mah 24A

Orbtronic hybrid
Orbtronic 18650 SX22 (hybrid) 2000mAh 22A
Orbtronic 18650 SX30 (hybrid) 2100mAh 30A

Sanyo
UR18650EX 2000mAh 20A

Samsung hybrid (LiNiCoMnP)
INR18650-20R 2000mah 22A

Sony hybrid
us18650vct3 1600mAh 30A
us18650vtc4 2100 mAh 30A

Efest IMR
18650 1600mAh 30A

How recently did they make that announcement?
It was within the last month or so. RTD Vapor has a footnote under the MNKE page "MNKE has stopped production of this battery." So the only ones that are available are what are still left on the shelves at various vendor websites or stores.

Wonder if MENKE are going to be replacing them with a higher mAH model?

So of the ones you've listed (With MNKE's being 20A?) which would you consider to be the best above or equal to 20A?

First of all, scratch the Samsung INR18650-22P 2200mAh 10A from the list, it's only a 10 amp battery. It was mistakedly put on the list.

I have no personal experience with any of the above batteries as I do not do sub-ohms. All of the batteries in the list are made by well-recognized, name brand manufacturers. Any of these batteries should meet the qualifications of doing sub-ohms. Other members may add comments on their personal preferences based on their own experience.

The Orbtronic 18650 SX30 (hybrid) 2100mAh 30A and the Sony us18650vtc4 2100 mAh 30A have both the highest mAh and amp rating of all of the batteries in this list.

Fatdaddyvapes Pair of Mnke IMR 18650 30A 60A Batteries for Mechanical Mods | eBay

FatDaddy Vapes - So far he has a strong following from Vapors, has a FB group and seems to know what he is doing.

I have purchased these, He bought a large Case load(thousands) Also does coops and resells other Vapors supplies.

I'd buy more now but the Holidays prevent funds. The ones I have are Very Noticeably more powerful than my CGR's

* Again, this battery will not be available once stocks are depleted by venders.

If this is the first time for you to use MNKE, don't be surprised by very short vaping time (at subohms it could be below one hour).
There are much better 18650 right now than old MNKE batteries.
Two, three years ago MNKE was my nr1 battery. Now when company is gone, and new batt. development terminated that is not the case anymore.

That doesn't surprise me. Mine lasted for a whopping three months.

I got a couple of us18650vtc4 2100 mAh 30A batteries a few weeks ago and am quite happy with them at 0.5 ohms. I have not done any time per charge testing and don't even have a feel for it as I do not vape the same amount day to day. IMO they hit similar to MNKE and us18650vct3 1600mAh.
