Hey, i hope this is the right place to post this :)

So I've been getting quite rusty with mobile app development on my current job and decided i'd go ahead and make something android related in my free time.
I'd like people to post their suggestions here, what do you think is missing in vape apps that exist, what would you like a general vape app to have (features etc) and so on.
Of course this would be free for distribution once it's done, but it will also take a relatively long time as i don't have that much free time.

Looking forward to your suggestions :)

Port the e-juice me up calculator and loads of us will worship you!! Weve already got Steam Engine on Android so our coil/power/battery needs are pretty well taken care of there.. Theres a few juice calculators on it already but alot of us use the e-juice calculator and have our recipe files saved in its format which makes em all worthless if you need to switch between your phone and a computer.. Sure I could go manually type in the folders of them I have saved all over again but it would be nice to just be able to drop them on my phone and open them right there.. I hate mixing on my computer desk, Id rather be able to take my phone or tablet and do it on a much safer workspace away from the cats and everyone else in the house..

Well I don't make my own juice so that wouldn't really benefit me :( it would be cool to have an app that altered me whenever something I wanted was on sale really cheap though haha
This would be interesting. Parsing deal sections of known vendors and finding the lowest price based on your input query. Sounds like a fun thing to try, it should have options for the user to add sites/vendors and product names and it should have options to either auto check every x hours or manual only.
Already some fun ideas, nice :)

@Monotremata it doesn't matter really, i wouldn't be making a port as in taking the done code. I'd be rewriting it on my own after seeing what the app does :)
Where's the fun in stealing code when you can just take the idea :D

Good point. I guess if you can take apart the file format and read it anything goes after that haha. Im just thinking about us lazy folks that dont wanna retype everything all over and just wanna open an .rec file in an app we can carry around!
I'll check the app out tomorrow probably, literally got 0 time today (after work that is :D). If i can read the format that everyone uses, i can create a reader for it :)
I should note that once something usable will be out, i will post both the app file (not obfuscated or anything) and the source. I know I'm personally very sceptical of putting random peoples' apps on my phone without seeing the source.

1. A good database storage. Preferably that transfers to spreadsheets nice/smoothly
2. More then 5 spots for flavors.
3. Pg/vg nic and flavoring options.
4. A comment/review of the juice made with a ranking system.
5. Price per ml calculators are a nice feature.
6.Ml per day tracker
7. Im forgetting some but
the ejuice me up port would be great as its my goto calc.
8. An inventory of the flavorings/bases to help with what you have instock or what's running low (for those that have upwards of 50flavors it can be a hassle trying to remember what you need to reorder)
9. A rating system for different flavor bases you tried (like capella custard gets a 5 tfa gets a 4 blah blah stuff like that so you can stick with whats good)
10. Nice logos and icons for those of us that are easily amused by things or have adhd and like staring at an icon of a juice bottle for 5 minutes.
11. A steeping chart to keep track of what juices are steeping and if taste improved or decreased over that period.

I wish the mod chip manufacturers would add bluetooth to their chips so that hit counts, hit seconds, watts etc could be transmitted to a smart phone app that could show usage over time. I would make the chip hardware industry standard and open source so that any manufacturer could use it and any developer could make an app to collect and display the data. To keep it simple the data would be transfered real time, no buffering on the chip. Now that I have control of my smoking (zero cigs) I'd like more influence over my vaping. It would help if I could see how I'm vaping over time.
