I don't have an android phone or iphone, so I'm not sure how much this helps.

I have a Nokia E71x running Symbian OSv3 FP2.
In the 3 browsers I have on my phone, all 3 try to load the full site and 2/3 work flawlessly.

Just tried it with my 1Ghz android phone.

* product category nav is great (and really fast!)
* super easy to find/add items to cart
but...
* view cart bounced me to the non-mobile UI
* checkout bounced me to the non-mobile UI

Worked great up to the point of actually placing the order. I could live w/o view cart, but a mobile version of the checkout UI would be something to provide. I suspect you'll lose a lot of mobile users at that critical point of actually placing the order.

If there is a mobile checkout UI, for some reason my Andriod 2.0 browser didn't show it. Maybe I have to login first (via a mobile friendty UI) to get the mobile UI at checkout time? I'll look for that...

Nope... didn't find a mobile friendly login UI.

I think you're real close. Finding items and adding them to the cart is a cakewalk. Missing mobile friendli'ness...
