mod cap

has anyone else ordered the mod cap for there avs,what i would like to know does it fit because the one i was sent dont, dont these companies try this stuff before they sell,im finding this more and more getting the wrong or damage parts or ecigs ,this is the first i got from vapor king but it kinda sucks when you wait for the part to show up and then it dont fit then i have to send it back and wait again,now i did send them 2 tickets yesterday no answer then i tried calling today no answer,so much for great customer service, sorry for this message but you know im just getting tired of buying and sending back, weather or not vaporking gets ahold of me its going back today,,,k9frog

I am sorry you have not gotten a response on your CRM ticket. Rob has been sick in bed since yesterday morning and I am trying to get things done as fast as I can. There are two people here trying to do the work of three at the moment.

You are the only one that has had an issue with the cap not fitting so far. It is very difficult to try these new mod caps out on an older style AVS or AFS since we dont have any and all we have had since they came in is the new nickel plated AVS tank only and AFS v3.

Please send the cap and we will get another one out to you.

k9, you mean the cap to transform the AVS to AFSV3? If yes, what is the problem exactly? It doesnt screw at all? It screws until the o-ring only? It screws until a spesific point only?

you are correct , the problem is when i screw the cap on it will not even catch 1 thread, its no were near the o ring to seal it

then its a problematic cap. Very strange situation but it can happen of course. I cant avoid faulty parts, 1 per 100 or 200 is faulty. That happens to all constructions but Rob will take care of this of course as you saw

hey guys, i'm having the same problem as k9frog. i thought maybe i was doing something wrong, as my cap wouldn't thread more than a half turn on any of the collector tanks i have. is it possible that there is a difference in thread lead or pitch between the older collector tanks and the newer versions? i'm still not thoroughly convinced that it's not just me doing something wrong, but each of the standard 4-in-1 adapters thread on like butter, all the way without fail every time, but on the same CT the AFS V3 connector won't budge past a half turn.

sounds like the same problem bugg,dont force it or youll strip the alumium threads, to me it looks like the pitch is different or the nickel plating changed the threads

same threads guys. All of my caps got screwed ok on my CT's. Its one more problematic cap, thats all. Of course maybe a small piece of metal is on the threads of the cap but I dont expect from anyone to remove it. Rob will change them for you.

thanks much imeo, i sent the cap back this morning, i do perfer to buy the cap ,but only if i know its going to fit properly, it would be possible for me to send you my collector tank , to verify the fit

you will not have to wait much longer k9, CTs are ready for shipping in about 4-5 days. If they were ready you would have them already

im must retract that stupid statement i made about vaporkings service,what i said in my other post was said in haste with no meaning,these people at vaporking and imeo have gone way out of there way to solve my problem, which as we speak the new parts are on there way to me,i have gotton nothin but top service from these people, right along with there top of the line mods and i will contiue to be a customer of vaporking ,thanks rob your the man !!!!!

Not mine... although I asked Imeo for an auluminum and not nickel plated one since all my AVS's are aluminum too. Next shipment with my 2 top caps ?? (fingers crossed)
