I'm considering carrying Vaultz cases in my store, but after speaking to the rep today, I'd have to order quite a few. So, I'm trying to get a feel if it's worth ordering these and what people would like to see in them as far as layout.

There are 2 sizes and layouts I'm considering, but I don't know if they'd work with most mods or what people would need to be able to carry? These would be for everyday use to carry just what you need when you are away from home. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Mini Case: 4 1/2" H X 5 3/4" W X 1 3/4" D Comes in black, ice blue & glitter red. Would hold minis or a thicker mod like the eGo under 5" long. Would include empty 6ml bottles in mesh pocket. Could include conductive foam in the bottom if desired.

Regular Case: 5 1/2" H X 8 1/4" W X 5" 2 1/2" D Comes in an assortment of colors and designs. Should fit mods or hold a lot of 510/mini/pen style accessories securely. Fits regular liquid bottles in mesh pocket. Could include conductive foam in the bottom if desired.

Case Organizer: 5 1/2" H X 8 1/4" W X 5" 2 1/2" D Comes in black. Pouches in the lid could hold batteries, attys and carts.

ok kristin...since you gotta buy alot of them... I know we talked a bit before but check these sites you might find some solutions or better quotes through them

Shipping Cases, Custom Cases, Carrying Cases, Tool Cases | Cases by Source
Check the links for aluminum cases and also presentation cases (I think alot of their custom aluminum cases the minimum order is 25)..

Shipping Cases, Custom Cases, Transport Cases | Pelican, SKB & Seahorse Cases | Cases by Masco
hit the custom tab and you can find their aluminums..I think this was the 500 piece place I mentioned ...but it's good to look at or at least get a quote from

Cool! What kind of mod do you have? Can you give me the length and width of it? Which layout would work best (I don't know if MOD users carry different things like batteries.) Or do you have a regular ecig and just like that it locks?

lots of mod owners will carry or need to store batteries (and with these Lion batteries they're often kept in matched pairs and a great deal of precaution taken in making sure the wrappers dont get messed up either)...either a few of the same or a selection between what they use for 3.7V or high voltage...either using cartomizers or drip so will need cartos or juice bottles and even possibly a t tip if they're using those...

problim is with mods theres so many different sizes.. upwards of about the size of a C battery in diameter

I got carrying/protective cases for just my batteries, to keep them from getting messed up and organized as far as what's charged or needs charged...

Thanks Drozd!

Yeah, I'd have to order $500 worth of the Vaultz cases - but that's not 500 pieces. ;)

Why those vs. the Vaultz cases? (just curious)

I really need to understand what the MOD users want to be able to carry with them during the day - not for general storage. I figure 1 fully assembled mod, extra batteries (but how many? what size are they?) extra attys and mouthpieces (how many) and a couple bottles of liquid for the day. I'm not trying to sell home storage solutions, you know? Just a case that works like my other cases do for 510/mini/pen styles - to take with you to work or on the town.

Do a lot of mod users take them out to the bar/nightclub or would they usually take something smaller with them? I see mod users talking about wanting a portable case, but if you have something pocket-sized, most mods wouldn't fit, you know?

How much would you have to charge to make it worthwhile? I can pick up either at a couple of local retailers. I don't intend to discourage or derail, just a fact I would consider.
The thing is - they aren't that easy to find in a lot of places. Office Max/Office Depot carries the regular case, but often only during back-to-school season and often only in kiddie colors. I went to my local Office Depot last weekend and they didn't have any in stock and they don't offer them online.

The mini case is only available at Fred Meyer and Shopko, but not always in stock and not available online. We don't even have Fred Meyer here and Shopko isn't in every town. And I would add the foam and travel-size bottles. I haven't found anyone who carries the third case. So, even though those places carry them, they are scarce or hard to find and not so easy to just "pick up" for a lot of people.

I can get them wholesale and offer them at a comparable in price to those places - and mine would be easier for customers to get. ;)

Kristin, while I like the look of these I would not be able to use something like the examples shown. I can not speak for everyone but I would love to see a case that could fit into a jacket breast pocket. Being the owner of several eGo's and a Protege I would be looking something maybe 6 inches tall by 2 or 3 wide and maybe an inch or so deep. It could house a unit, a battery, and couple atty's with some juice and that would do me fine. I do thank you trying to offer something to everyone.

Well, I say those because instead of having the case and then foaming and fitting dow to the device..you can kinda go a general generic device or average size of what you're gonna put in the case and build up from there and do a custom size case..as well as have optionf for locking or latches..or your company's name on the nameplate instead of the vaultz name ya know..just something that will be different and unique and more fitting to our needs and your company..than a box someone can pick up themselves and mod..

I need measurements of the Chuck!

a Protege I would be looking something maybe 6 inches tall by 2 or 3 wide and maybe an inch or so deep. It could house a unit, a battery, and couple atty's with some juice and that would do me fine. I do thank you trying to offer something to everyone.

A Protege is less than 6" long fully assembled?? The metal cases I offer are 7"L X 2"W X 7/8"D. Would it fit?

"With some juice" what does that mean exactly? A couple of small bottles or one bottle? Don't HV devices go through a lot more liquid? How much would you need to make it through the day or a night out? I can fit 6ml bottles in the deeper case.

OK, well, if I can get some of these mod owners to give me actual measurements, it would help a lot - I need SPECIFICS!! lol

Well a 7x2x7/8 would do fine for a Protege and eGo and still allow room as you mentioned for a 6ml bottle and atty's. Thank you for that reminder.
The only thing is that the interior is actually 3/4" or 14mm deep. With the foam and lid liner, the interior is even smaller, so they'd only fit without foam, I think.

Best I can do for you is I found a list of the thicknesses (diameters)of a bunch of the mods in mm...here:
-Super-Six 17.25
-BB 22
-GG Grant 20
-Xhaler 21
-Prodigy 22
-GGT 22
-Adaptever 21
-Silver Bullet 26
-Chuck 23

So it's looking like the Silver bullet is probably the largest...I'm guessing with the double barrel head it's even larger.. probably next or even bigger would be the GGTS with AFS...followed by the chuck.. I know the chuck body is 5" long (I don't have one but I'm making a lanyard for someone and that's the length that was given to me.. of course total length will vary according to what atty is being used and the manufacturers make it difficult by not putting that info on their sites (but figure 5" for chuck body + length of 801 atty + length of T tip and that's pretty much the longest that's gonna get).. but I'd send a mesage to the guys at altsmoke and ask for dimmensions for the silverbullet with double barrel...and vaporkings for GGTS with AFS dimmensions..
All told I'd figure 26mm by say 6 1/2" long for the PV dimmensions.. then whatever esle you want to put in the case...extra atties, juice bottle, maybe extra batteries/change of batteries..

Hope that's helpfull somewhat

Well, I can't get a return call from the manufacturer and the case sizes I was already planning to carry should fit just about everything except a Silver Bullet. The Silver Bullet just doesn't lend itself to a pocket-sized carrying case. :( The case would have to be 8" X 3" X 1 1/2" deep - it won't fit in a pocket, so what's the point in a case that big? Better to carry the device on the side and get a compact 5" case for the liquid and extra attys/mouthpieces.
