If u want longer drags then a mod is the wrong way to go, if its unregulated (like most mechs) it can become explosive if the circuit is completed longer than 10 seconds. With the evod sometimes u just hafto pull some juice into the wick and the biggest issue I've seen is when people don't let the wick prime when they change the coil head, the tank needs to sit full and unused for at least 10 minutes or you'll burn the wick right away and constantly get burnt hits
Unn, that's just so much utter nonsense. Really, explosive if fired for over 10 seconds??? umm, well sure, if one like over demands the amps capable supplied from the power source by seriously building seriously to low, then yeah can cause batt to vent, and if one choose a mod with no vent capabilities, the vent pressure can build up and blow like a pipe bomb, or choose the wrong batt, that could be a major frak up

But no, if done safetly within design parameters can power lock a 0.16 build with a full tank and let it vape until the batt dies from being over spent. Will have a very hot mod, 2nd degree buns kind of hot, and if the tank ran out of juice, likely all your insulators, O-rings and such, have all melted too, and one has a dead rba and a dead batt, but no, not an explosion. But the room will smell nice, cloudy, but nice
This is what I was writing before seeing the quoted post, and just had to respond. Vape, when done with knowledge, skill and within safe parameters is safe. mainly.
Hmm, removing flavor wicks is never a good idea. to little wicking causes flooding. Best advice on any changeable is to allow sufficient wick saturation before the first vape. Failure to do so, well, quite often ruins the coil head and time for a new head change already.
Until one truly understands the finer aspects of wicking and building, messing with something that should work if used correctly, is not advisable, and often leads to more frustration. Understanding how things vape is the best path to improving ones vape. Also the quality of premade coils and gear has improved vastly in the last year, so should be much more trouble free.
dry hits is a wicking issue, can't suppy enough juice to supply the power demanded, turn down the power, till it's good, or learn to wick and build so it can be better, if not getting a satisfactory vape. Vape is only as good as the gear, build and knowledge of the vaper doing the vaping. Generally speaking, that is.
Vape long and prosper.!!!!
