So I decided to do another G box. These are a bit tricky since they are so small, but I still wanted to do a MOSFET, dual 18650s, and a voltmeter. I think this one is better finished than the last one. I actually wired this one 3 times, it was awful... but it was due to this copper wire that the electronics store sold me that for some reason had some kind of non-conductive coating on it and so it didn't work. Then I rewired everything after sanding the ends of the wire so they would conduct electricity and somehow fried a mosfet... i'm not sure how such a thing happens, but it got really hot... hot enough to melt stuff. So I was upset and went to bed. The next day I decided to use some mains cabling... the kind for 240V AC lines. I put everything back together, minus a master on/off switch that I had included in the first attempt.... I just didn't feel like glueing something in the box, plus I would probably never actually use a master on/off switch since I carry my mod in my breast pocket where it is upright and won't fire unintentionally. And any other reason I would need to be sure my mod didn't accidentally fire (like on an airplane), I would just take the batteries out.

So I did it just like the last one, except with a thinner sized .28 voltmeter. Although I used a dremel to cut out the last one, this one I did with a file. It took about an hour to file out the square hole. I didn't think it was difficult or tedious really... the file slices through these aluminum boxes a little bit at a time. Its easy to get exactly the opening that I wanted.

I also used a different switch. This switch has a perfect clicky button that feels great to press. And it doesn't extend very far inside the box, leaving room to work with stuff.

Next mod, which I already have parts for, is going to be a beautiful blue B box with a 16mm blue steel switch and triple 18650 sled. But anyway, here is the new G box! Its near perfect, everything is flush. The voltmeter, the magnets, the lid... all flush. I put that fat daddy sticker on it cause I was looking though my vape stickers for a decent vape-related decal. I don't actually think I used any fat daddy parts on this one though. :
