Front facing voltmeter in a 1590G?

This is a 1590B box that I made recently:

I am planning a new build for a 1590G box and would like to use a similar place for the voltmeter. I have a shorty fat daddy 510, but I still don't think its short enough to completely clear the location where the voltmeter is. It might fit behind the 510... just barely. Has anyone tried anything like this in a G-size box?

yes, i have done two G boxes already with meters on the side. I want to try something more challenging... plus I want to use the side for some switches and LEDs. It seems like it should be possible, if my measurements are right. I guess I will just have to attempt it based only on my idea!

They do make thinner meters I put one in a 1550P with dual 18650's but they are a couple mm wider than the G box here is a pic. I did not remove any of the lip from the lid of the box so it can move closer to the edge I will try and find the part number for this meter I cant promise I still have it but it was labeled as a micro.

I have managed to find a way to make everything fit. I'm going to run the wires later today. If everything works, I'll post a video of it.
