Mod starter kit advice? New member intro!

Hey guys, I am 18 years old and have been smoking since I was 13.
Horrible I know, but now I realize how stupid I am for doing this.
I want to kick the habit for a few reasons:
1- Family of course doesn't like it.
2- Girlfriend doesn't like the way it smells on me.
3- E-juice tastes better, is cheaper, and healthier.

I have been looking at a few mod starter kits.
Halo Trition.

This vape kit seems nice. Beautiful finish. Not all that expensive.
But I heard their vapes do not like other brand ejuice from different vendors.
If that is false I will probably buy that one.


Ego-T

I heard these are cheaply made and don't have that nice throat hit.
Also heard problems about leakage.


Kanger Evod

So far this is a top runner. But I would also like to know more info about this.

My problem is I do not know which vapes are able to use any ejuice (Halo e juice is a bit pricey), are built decent, and will provide a nice introduction to vapes.

I am looking to not spend too much on a system as the HALO is the top price as of now I will go.

Any recommendations or anything will be helpful! Thanks!

i use an EVOD tank with a twist battery as my travel rig.. i use a 1.8 ohm coil at about 3.5-3.7 volts with the air holes (in the sides) drilled out to 2 mm..
you can run about &80 VG in this setup and make decent amount of vapor.
if you plan on using an EVOD as it comes from the factory.. get e-liquid that is %50 PG and %50 VG

I really haven't started vaping yet.
Is there anywhere I can learn HOW to customize my own kit and what everything does and means?
You don't need to explain it just a link or something would be fantastic
Most of the stuff I am finding are sales ads/

I would recommend starting with this kit. While it is a bit pricier, it offers variable voltage and is totally customizable. The basic Evod Kits are recommended as well Good luck!

you can buy just one kit from kanger... shipping will take a long time and the cost of shipping is astronomical the kits should run no more than $40 for 2 batteries and 2 tanks.

there are a few types of thread patterns here is a few. KR808, 510, Ego, 901... "eGo" batteries have both 510 and ego threading. and EVOD tank / battery is ego threading.

pretty much any tank or "atomizer" that says its 510 threaded will fit any battery with 510 threads, for example.
