I have been vaping since March 1st of this year, and I own 2 Riva 510's. I actually purchased 2 of the Turbine 2.5ml tank systems and for some reason when I vaped it tasted like burned motor oil. I really am interested in getting into some mods.

I am not to sure where to start. I would really appreciate any and all Mod suggestions to make my vaping experience better. I am at the point where I vape and vape but I am not getting any satisfaction. I have tried numerous PG/VG ratio's, numerous nicotine strengths but still not getting the satisfaction I am looking for. So, please blast this post with your suggestions and possibly websites I can research and purchase the mods.

Giggity!!!!

Do you have a budget? Or at least a rough amount you're willing to spend? And, do you have requirements for size, aesthetics, and durability?

To get started in VV, it might be worth it to get a VV box mod from madvapes for less than forty bucks. To get started with a bottom feeder, you might visit the forum supplier section and have a look at Old Goat's bottom feeders. Thirty bucks will get you a fully functional bottom feeder to see if that's for you. There are lots of 5.0v box mods out there under forty bucks to try out 5.0v (but if you got the madvapes VV box, you could just dial in to 5.0v to try).

A lot of people do seem to find higher voltage to be the way to go, and, I myself am fairly committed to 5.0v for standard resistance and 3.7v with low resistance (and both 5.0 and 3.7 for dual coil cartos). But low resistance on your existing Rivas might be just as good (lots of people go LR for a more satisfying vape). Before you spend a ton of money, you might consider trying out some different attys and cartos.

The 2.0 ohm boge cartomizer makes a nice warm thick vapor at 3.7v. The 1.5 ohm dual coil cartos are impressive at 3.7v and are very flexible in their ability to handle voltages between 3.2 and approaching 6.0v without failing or burning. 2.0 ohm attys are a far different experience than standard resistance ~2.4/2.5 ohm attys at 3.7v. And, then there's also the LR 306 attys to consider. I'm not sure how many different people I've read describing the LR 306 as a "vapor canon".

Flavor issues seem to be pretty common with tanks. What are you looking for? Ease of use, longevity, harder hit? Six has a good suggestion. Before you buy a mod, try some 2ohm Boge cartos on your Riva and see if that suits you or if there is still something missing.

OTOH, you could just go for what I think is the best mod, which is obvious by my signature.
