Like cell phones and tablets? Yikes!
A standard Ego battery has no charging port, also most "mechs" will be missing that feature as well.
Just for fun, A Provari (Tube style) is always an option. ( or a REO).

I really want a provari but on the specs it says it has a micro usb.
It has to be usb, micro usb, ect free. I never use the micro usb on my nano anyway I just carry extra batteries but its policy so not much I can but buy a new one.

Are devices with charging ports banned or just using the charging port at work? If it's just using the charging port could you just carry an extra battery?
If it's the device with charging ports I believe I read most dual 18650 mods don't have charging ports, but I could be completely wrong about that.

The policy previously was using the charging port was banned but they recently changed it to the device even having it is

Also I just noticed you said it was the micro USB. I know the IVP D3 uses a proprietary charging port that looks like 3.5 mm jack. I don't know if that would be allowed with in the rules or not.
I have 4 Provaris (V1, V2, & 2 V2.5s'). None of them have a charging port. I have a REO .. no charging port. I have a Mako, 3 Caravelas', 2 Chi Yous', a Nemeses, and a N Zonic, and guess what .... no charging ports.
(and I haven't even cracked open the zombie box)

Sounds like the Company feels they were suffering Employee abuse of resources.

It's probably more about the potential for stealing information. My company handles confidential documents and our production facility has similar, if not quite as strict, policies.Are you in National Security?

Our company had a simple Territorial rule. The main entrance/Hall and Cafeteria were situated before the main facility.
Big Sign, no personal Property beyond this point.
Everything stayed in Lunch containers in the cafeteria, visible to security.
With over 500 Cameras in the facility not respecting Policy could cost you your job in short order.
Cafeteria allowed use of personal devices as well as company provided internet service.
Are you banned from any device with a charging port or from charging any device via a charging port. Some companies don't want any usb devices plugged into the computer system at all for security reasons. It should not be an issue if you have access to a wall outlet to plug your charger into, unless that could be a security issue also. Most regulated mods do have a USB port but some are only for data transfer. The only regulated mod I know of that does not have a USB port is the Heat Invader Mini. Also mechanical mods don't have a USB port.

Also viruses can be transmitted via Flash Drives and phones plugged into a computer or sensitive company documents can be downloaded.

It's now any device with a charging port. Before the rule was it could have a charging port as long we didn't bring cables in that could be plugged in for charging but they have now changed that.
Even before the rule was changed we couldn't have brought in a wall charger.
