Modded smoketech dct issue

I bought a smoketech dct, and realized i liked boge cartos better, so i cut it down to fit the standard length boges. I had been slotting my cartos, but i recently decided to punch with a screw as shown in a video i found somewhere. It works okay, but then an air bubble develops and sticks in the punched hole! Sometimes i can dislodge it by sliding the tank up and spinning it, or by tipping it and letting the air from the top of the tank merge with it, but that's just a P.I.T.A. Anyone know what's wrong and how to fix it?

When you punchtured the hole you created a sort of vacuum is my guess so the liquid does not want to flow because the air created the vacuum and is in a little "pocket". I'm not quite sure if you can totally fix that, but if it works with a little tweaking just use that for as long as the carto will work

managed to fix it by punching a second hole. but, as a sideeffect, the carto wont go all the way thru the tank bottom, but just enough so that i seats level with the bottom of the tank, and eliminates the issue with the tank spinning on the carto so much.
