Crase is being held in Sacramento County Jail on booking charges of possession of a destructive device, possession of ingredients to make a destructive device...

Well, how wonderfully non-specific that is. So, if I have a 6 pack of beers, drink three of them, pee on my neighbors begonias, and they die - I could possibly be charged with...

...and possession of a firearm silencer.

Ah - the state of modern journalism. And policing. I wonder if they got that wrong too. => The Silencer

This is the quietest "breaking news" story I've ever seen. Perhaps HSA has secreted him off to an undisclosed location to be held in limbo for an undetermined duration due to the national sensitivity and the potential lawsuit against the community for blowing up his e cig supplies.

That.

And Perhaps his Attorney has given his Family and Friends some Good Advice and told them to make No Statements to the Media.

Yes, if it was discovered that his containers of an "unknown substance" that were confiscated were just barrels of PG and VG, they would look like buffoons for making such a big deal out of it. Same with the "silencer."

It's very strange at this point they are still referring to the barrels of "suspicious substance" or "explosive substance" and have not named the substance in any follow-up articles.

Not all that Unusual. The media may just Not Know what the Substance was/is. Or they Know, and Don't want to say.
