I bought Gripper because it's small and I can stealth vape at Little League and soccer games (grandsons). An xl carto will fit down inside and make it very stealthy but the capacity is too limited.

I discovered Crystal Clear Vaping has the SmokTech 1.7 single coil jumbo Resurrector and they hold almost 2.5 ml of juice. Mounted to the Gripper 510 extension, not very stealthy.

I noticed the lip of the well on the Gripper was a smaller diameter than the well itself, so I started drilling. After a 27/64" drill bit was slowly passed down the well until it just touched the 510 connector, I was able to "hide" the jumbo Resurrector. I did use a shorty 510/510 extension to keep the carto up in the drilled portion.

Now I'm good for a double header :vapor: :vapor:

Nice work! Did you drill free hand or use a press?

I know this thread is really old but after buying and drilling out the carto hole to hold the bigger car to I figured why stop there. I have always been a fan of the ego mega cartomizers and figured I'd see if I could get one to fit. I ended up using a 9/16 drill bit which pretty much removed all of the exterior wall. A little work with a file to smooth out the jagged edges and this is my result. Oh I also needed to add a 510 to ego adapter. Now i can bring it out with me without carrying around a bottle of juice.
