Hi everyone I'm very new at this and i basically just started to vape a little over a month a go but I wanted to give modding a try. I have the ego-c and I know there's not much i can do to mod this type of pv, but I do know you can you can use the battery to some extent. Plus I figured this would be a good starting point to get an idea of how modding works for when I do get a better pv. So what would be a good set up to try with an ego=c battery? thanks

Nope, not if it's a 510. 510 refers to the inner threading space/size/angle (not the outer threading which is Ego specific I think). So a Kanger Clearo (carto?) just make sure you get a 510. I'm not sure if that's what you mean by "modding", since mods usually involve taking things apart and adjusting them.

Other things to look at are tanks (smoketek or bogeF16 are okay starters), the Vivi Nova, XXL cartos, drip atomizers (don't get me started on the options for drip tips). There's really a ridiculous amount of accessories you can get.

Hangon, there's a thread kickin' around full of ego setups specifically...where did it...rigginragginnogunfragun...

Ah ha! Found it!

Here's one that I took with a quick rundown of adds:

The best thing I've added to my ego-c is the Vivi Nova. I tried Kanger, Stardust, and a handful of cartos. Nothing comes close to the Nova (at least in my case). Incredible flavor, massive amounts of vapor, and completely leak free. GotVapes VISION ViVi NOVA™ 3.5ml V2.5 REBUILDABLE TANK [gv-VIVINOVA-TANKV2.5] - $10.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more You can get it in a mini form, which has a smaller tank, but the same awesome experience. If you have $10 lying around and want something in the tank area, I highly recommend it.

Cool well i'll def get the nova then as soon as possible and I was already tossing around getting the twist, I'm not sure I will thought because I'm in the market for a variable and I want to get one I can use all the add on's I can think of. I was thinking about the lavatube. I've heard good things and since I can't afford the provari or the Darwin I thought it would be a good choice.

Lavatubes are pretty good in my oppinion. Can be replaced alot easier than a Provari. Not anywhere close as far as durability, but the difference in the price is nice. I've had both and both have nice safety features. Also, the Silver Bullet from AltSmoke is a solid choice. American made too! Paired up with a Kick, or a 4.8v battery makes this one of my favorites.

Glad it's working out for you.

Mods and info are here:
E-Cigarette APV Reviews
Stock stuff is here: Model Specific Discussion

However, your question about modding is here:
Modding Forum
Basically, you can build APV's and/or atomizers and tanks from the ground up.

And it all gets confusing, terminology wise. :)
Score one for "APV" vs "Mod". lol.

I guess you are not quite there yet on the terminology, but since asked, eGo-C atomizer heads can be recoiled, the middle bottom hole can be put shut to prevent leaks to the battery terminal, etc.

As for other atomizers to your battery, about 92% of the ones on the market will fit. Me too liking the Vivi Nova (Mini).
