Hey everyone! Im new to the whole E cig thing. ive been smoking the modern vapor sidesho for about 2 months now and its GREAT!....well....at least it is when im not burning through atomizers like they are firewood in the arctic tundra. I have a couple questions that maybe some people can help me with. I just got a new battery and it acts a bit odd. My old battery will stay on as long as i am taking a drag, but in turn , the atomizer gets really hot. Probably how i killed all my previous atomizers. the new battery however is the opposite. it seems to turn its self off before i even get a good drag. im a bit confused. perhaps the new battery has a failsafe mechanism? Ive been reading posts on here for quite a while. if any one knows any tips or tricks associated with thte modern vapor brand, let me know. i might just go with a new brand all together. thanks!

Yes I now Modern Vapor well tony the owner is a good guy to work with. I would sugest Emailing Tony he is realy good at helping with issues on the MV stuff.

If you wont to try Cartomizers on the Sideshow try the 306 cartos they fit really nice and work like a dream. Feel free to PM if you need Tony's contact info.. or send me a Email from my profile and I will see if I can contact him for you. :)

I will post this thread on the MV forum to see if I can get you some more help.

The batteies do have a cutoff and it does get longer after the first day or two. If its cuttting off in the first couple of seconds or so, call Tony (if he hasn't seen this and gotten in touch with you already which happens a lot). I have quite a few Sideshos, 902's and a few Lux's from Modern Vapor and have only ever gotten 1 bad battery. It's rare, but it does happen. Tony always takes care of any problems that come up or questions you might have.

Not sure about the cartomizers working on a sidesho, but it won't maike a difference if the battery is cutting out.

Metal.... Nice. Like you already. Yes batteries have a cut off and yes having them on too long can ruin atomizers. Maybe try MVs 902 atty. Its not as easy to drip but holds more juice and is very powerful. Also, my guess is you're drag is so long because you feel you're not getting enough vapor or throat hit. Not only try the 902 but try out some new juice, maybe some Halo. MV sells that as well. If you're looking for cartomizers, MV now sells 902 cartos - as of a couple days ago. The 902 will fit your Sidesho batteries by the way if you want to try it before buying the battery. Plus the 902 batteries will fit your Sidesho charger I believe, so no need to buy another. If your sick of swapping batteries so often though, check out their LUX. :)

Man, I feel like I vape constantly but I obviously don't being I get about 3 days of vaping on each one of my three LUX batteries. Combined with the 902 atty and I'm in Heaven. I'm about to give MV's cartos a run through as well. They might arrive tomorrow. I'm leery of a disposable atty but a lot of people are excited about a 902 carto so I'll put them through their paces and see how they hold up with refills and cost effectiveness.

I started with the 902 and loved it but moved up....chat Tony on the website if he is on, he is a GREAT help to get what you need and solve any issues you may run into...he was a HUGE source of my success with the Ecig...I would definately upgrade to the Lux when your ready....those came out AFTER I got my Ego :O(...that will be my next purchase for hardware. I also find that his SS Atty's are rock solid, I use them on my Ego and LOVE them, they never fail me and I've had them for 2 months now....

my lux is in the mail right now. it should get here tomorrow. I got an array of supplies including cartomizers and an extra atomizer ( the lux kit already comes with two atomizers, so i should be lookin pretty good)

Ironically enough, the battery actually started to work better after i used it for a while lol. It works fine now. I guess i just had to break it in or something. I think they changed the battery so it cuts off faster when vaping so you dont burn up the atty. SO far, it works great.

cant wait for my lux though! the sidesho is nice, but i need some heavier fog!!!!! BRUTAL!!@!!!!
