ModMaker 510 help

Hello,

I'm trying to build my first squonker and I have a question regarding ModMaker's 510.
I see that there are 2 versions:

V1:MM510 V1 Squonker Connector
Micro: MM510 Micro Spring Loaded Squonker Connector

Can anyone please tell me what would be the best choice for a Shapeways enclosure?

Since I've never built a mod before (been using a Pulse BF since February) I'm a little confused about the advantages/disadvantages of each one.

judging by the box you getting,looks like the design will have a flat strip that gets pushed against the 510 positive ?? if that is the case you should get the 2nd link choice

That's correct (flat strip gets pushed against the 510 positive), but I've just watched a tutorial video using the same enclosure and the 510 used was the V1 (using a MM510 Large Postive Nut), hence my doubt:

at the 8:50 mark the 510 i see is the 2nd link: MM510 Micro Spring Loaded Squonker Connector

Dont't know about the shapeway enclosure but I have the V1 in a small custom made Ultem squonker and it fits and performs flawlessly; no leaking, great spring tension etc.

IF you are looking for a round mod maybe check TD mods their V3 is more ergonomic.
