I found out today that mods don't like being dropped from the car door (almost 4 feet) to the pothole in the asphalt that is filled with dirty snowy water...
My istick 30w has passed into the great electronics beyond. :( However, I am now the proud owner of a Black DNA40 Vapor Flask clone. :vapor: I shall miss my istick greatly, however my new friend fits nicely in my hand and looks great with my Subtank Nano on it...which one of these days will have the black O-rings on it. lol, so I guess all is not lost!

Somewhere out there
I thought this was going to be a thread about the forum moderators.

and people wonder why I like mechs so much lol. I so can't wait to get a reo tho

I found out the hard way that brass mechs don't like to be dropped either. SS would have easily survived the same drop tho.

There is some "gurgly rattling" going on when I shake it - and it's not a button rattle type rattle unfortunately. I probably could take it apart just to tinker. For now, it shall sit in its towel of shame. lol. It hurts just looking at it. lol

Be sure to peel off the Clear Strip of Plastic that goes Around the Buttons First. Then the Buttons should just Fall Out. From there, you can Gut it.

But be aware that the Battery is Hard Wired to the Circuit Board. So the Board is Hot. And Poking it with something Metal, like a Dental Pick can have Adverse Effects.

Reo's don't mind being dropped :) Just a love tap with Reo's haha. I've dropped mine more times than you can count and all is fine. A Reo wouldn't mind water either, the battery would hate it, but the Reo loves it's bath once a week in the warm water in the sink haha.

I'd challenge anyone with a mech mod or regulated mod to which one would survive the fall and vape just as it did before the drop. Chances are Reo would win :) :D

I have to say that Ive dropped my V2 Provari hard enough on concrete to pop the 510 top cap half-way off also denting a KF clone, I took off the KF,tapped the end cap back in with a hammer, screwed the KF back on and kept on vaping. One day though Id love to have a REO.

Might not be a Bad Idea. LOL

I just mentioned it because I hold Two Distinctive Honors here on the ECF.

1 - I was one of the First Persons to Disassemble an iStick20.

2 - I was the First Person to Fry an iStick20 while Poking at it's Circuit Board with a Dental Pick.

    :D
